Last month, in honour of Urology Awareness Month we had an inspiring interview with Dionne, a women’s health advocate based in Scotland 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Dionne has endometriosis, a condition that affects her womb and has caused her to need to use catheters. She spoke about her experience as a young person self-catheterising and dealing with the horrible disease.

Here are some highlights from our recent talk with the inspirational Dionne who manages the page , a great space for women to share their stories and struggles with the awful disease endometriosis.

As a symptom of endometriosis, Dionne has experienced bladder issues and now needs to self-catheterise. We spoke about her experience with this as a young person among many other important topics 🧡

Endometriosis is an awful disease that affects 1 in 10 of women in the UK and many experience bladder issues because of it 👭

Despite crippling health issues, Dionne has managed to create a fantastic support group of women and is passionate about breaking the stigma around bladder health 💪
