One of our clients regularly goes to talk to the children at her local primary school and teaches them about the history of Clyst St George. Her Care Professional, Katie, helped her to make this shoebox scene depicting the local landscape. They went out to buy the sheep and created the scene using items from around the house.

The week's topic was merchants and adventurers at Lady Seaward school, so Mrs P spoke about Sir Edward Seaward's role in helping Exeter become one of the biggest wool sellers in the country!

Gill and Holly have been out and about in the community lately, visiting Tesco in Exmouth and Waitrose in Exeter and Sidmouth, offering advice on home care, dementia, ageing well and giving out leaflets to anyone who may wish to have some more information.

Having these "care conversations" is so important as we age because by introducing care early, you are more likely to be able to stay living at home for as long as possible.

Did you know that the NHS requires approximately 4,300 blood donations daily to meet hospital demands, with roughly 800,000 active blood donors currently registered! Donating blood doesn't take very long and each donation can help up to three patients! 🩸
