We've had a lovely week with lots of wonderful activities for our residents to enjoy. 💛

Residents had great fun looking through books of old brands, sparking memories and conversations about the past. They have also been enjoying the Magic Table in its new location, which has been a big hit! 🤩

We were delighted to welcome Chris, who started our new monthly singing group, it was a fantastic success and everyone really enjoyed joining in. We also had the pleasure of James visiting to play the piano, filling the home with beautiful music. 🎶

The home was decorated for Mother’s Day, and residents enjoyed the celebrations along with receiving special gifts on the day. 💐

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate everyone who has loved, cared for, guided or nurtured us - in whatever form that takes 🌷💐

It’s been a wonderfully busy and joyful here recentley! 😊

We started the week with a lively game of Balloon Tennis followed by our lovely monthly Worship Group. As it’s National Reading Month, we also set up a cosy Book Corner. Residents really enjoyed browsing through a fascinating book filled with old photographs of Exeter, which sparked lots of memories and conversations. 📚

Our creative side was shining too during our painting activity. Pam especially enjoyed it, and her beautiful artwork was so lovely that we framed it for her to keep! 🎨

We were also treated to some fantastic live music during the week. Cameron came to sing for us in the Larch Café, and on Friday Sian visited and filled the room with wonderful songs that everyone enjoyed. 🎶

Alongside all of this we had flower arranging, bingo, and a very active weekend with fitness activities, including seated exercise and fun parachute games. There was truly something for everyone!

A week full of music, creativity, movement, and smiles all around. 💛
