Cute image, festive themed to bring a smile to your face. It's that weird time of year between Christmas and New Year, sometimes called "Twixmas" where no one quite knows what day of the week it is!

Whatever your plans are, we hope it includes rest and relaxation. Our team are taking a break to be with their loved ones before we get cracking in 2026!

Over the festive season we know some families and individuals will be looking for answers in their journey to become pregnant.

For that reason, today we are answering the question; "Does Reproflexology™ really work?"

In a study we conducted, 68% of individuals conceived whilst under the care of our reproductive reflexologists.

180 clients were in the study, 122 conceived whilst receiving reflexology, 100 conceived naturally, and a further 22 were being supported during IVF.

We hear success stories from our members on a regular basis.

Reproflexology™ provides a structured and prescriptive approach to fertility issues using medical testing to support evidence of its outcomes alongside the majority of couples having a baby at the end of their treatment.

As we head into the festive season you may be meeting up with loved ones who are trying for a baby.

And we know, if someone you care about, a friend or family member, is struggling with fertility it can be difficult to know how to support them.

Here's a few things to consider:

Create a safe space for them to share and really listen. It can be tempting to offer positive stories of successful pregnancies that you've heard about or tell them they've got time.

Whilst this might feel like your helping it could add to the pressure they are already feeling. Leading them to question why it hasn't happened yet. Stress is something we want to reduce when a person is trying for a baby.

You could offer to attend the difficult appointments with them. Especially if they are for fertility treatments or if they are perhaps receiving results of testing, even just sitting in the waiting room shows how much you care and how much you support them with their journey.

It's in our nature to want to solve problems and relieve loved ones when they are sad, worried and upset. The best thing you can do is be there, let them feel and sit with them.

We heard from one of our members who had a fabulous Google review about the reproductive reflexology treatments they provided:

"What can I say? Alison [name of our trained reproductive reflexologist], is an absolute genius!

I have been having [reproductive] reflexology with Alison for a number of months now whilst trying to conceive and not only am I 13 weeks pregnant I have gained invaluable insight on how to pause, slow down and make time for myself.

Having a 4 year old and a full time busy job means I am always on the go but investing in myself and having regular treatments at bliss have changed my overall state of wellbeing.

I look forward to my sessions as I know Alison will create a safe environment for me to truly switch off and unwind. Bliss [name of our members business] is named so appropriately as that’s exactly how I feel once I’ve had my treatment! Thank you Alison xx"

Well done Alison what a wonderful review. It perfectly shows how reproductive reflexology is more than just a foot massage.

Can Reproreflexology™️ help me if I'm undergoing fertility treatment with conventional medical practitioners?

The short answer is yes, it can. Our trained Reproflexologists understand how to enhance treatment using complementary techniques to boost the chances of success using your body’s own mechanisms.

Our trained reflexologists treat clients at any stage of fertility planning. Whether you would like to enhance your general health before trying for a baby, are going through fertility treatment, or would like guidance during pregnancy, our Reproflexologists can help.

Plus we have a global network of members. You can find your nearest therapist with our searchable directory on our website.

It might seem strange that taking your temperature every day can help you conceive but trust us, it can really make a difference.

There is something called the "Basal Body Temperature" and as you move through different phases of your reproductive cycle your basal body temperature changes at the different stages.

Our reflexologists encourage women to check this daily and record it. When you wake, before you rise you take your temperature and make a note of it.

The figures can be plotted and with the help of our trained reflexologists we can map out your cycle and apply our treatments at the right time. We also see the improvements as happened to the lady below.

A woman came to us after trying for 18 months to have a baby. She had a very irregular menstrual cycle, PCOS and a progesterone deficiency. She was waiting for an appointment at her local fertility clinic.

We asked her to start basal body temperature charting immediately and began treating her on a weekly basis.

Whilst following our treatment protocols to support each stage of the cycle we saw that ovulation occurred more regularly, in fact each stage of the cycle had started to improve.

8 months later the lady became pregnant and after a straightforward and healthy pregnancy, gave birth to a little girl 😍

And that's how taking your temperature can help you conceive.

It's a happy news day. As we share a story from one of our members.

Pregnancy confirmed after following our protocols and treatments that we teach in our Reproductive Reflexology (or Reproflexology™) course.

The client had been trying to conceive for 2 years after stopping the pill. Her cycle was irregular and recently she had been diagnosed with PCOS. However, after treatments with our reflexologist the client announced she had a positive pregnancy test.

Wonderful news to finish out the month of November. Congratulations to the family and our reflexologist! 😍💙
