A lovely introduction to the The Notworking Networking Club to brighten a winter evening. Interesting folk, delicious canapés and entertaining speaker, even got myself some CPD/holiday reading.

Thank you for being so welcoming!

aims to restore balance, so as I approach the end of my first year as a self-employed reflexologist, I'm trying to work on my Work/Life balance....

Encouraged by our first daffodils; an afternoon of sowing seeds and making marmalade balanced by booking in a new client and accepting an invitation to talk to a local WI group.

I hope everyone is enjoying a gentle, restorative weekend

I need more tea!....terrible flashbacks to the horror that was A Level Maths, checking my lovely new client's response to her first treatment. It looks like a reduction of almost 80mls but I need to check notes from Sally Kay Reflexology as I don't trust my workings!

Looking forward to seeing how my client feels this week....

At Pete’s Dragons, we recognise that January can be a particularly difficult time for those experiencing grief. After the pace and expectations of the holiday season, the quieter nature of this month often allows loss to feel more present and more personal.

Grief does not follow a timetable, and it is common for emotions to intensify during periods of stillness. We encourage individuals to approach this time with patience and self-compassion. Simple practices such as maintaining daily routines, allowing space for rest, and acknowledging feelings without judgement can be supportive.

Take one day at a time, allowing yourself to move through each moment at your own pace. 🧡

In reflexology, balance isn’t about fixing or forcing the body into shape. It’s about supporting the body’s natural ability to find steadiness - physically, emotionally, and mentally.

So often, clients arrive feeling pulled in too many directions. Reflexology offers a pause, a chance to slow down and allow balance to return in its own time.

Balance doesn’t mean everything is perfect. It means things feel a little more manageable.
