This means residents can live how they wish on their own terms. Sainthill House provides accommodation, meals, and social and personal care for its residents, including help with bathing, dressing and medication administration. With a homely, community-based atmosphere, residents can access local leisure and recreation facilities and events with the help and support of staff members. Residents can enjoy a range of daily activities and outings which are tailored to individuals’ interests and hobbies. The activities and outings offered promote not only fun and sociability but also thought, dexterity and mobility. Moving into a residential home can be a challenging period so at Sainthill House residents are supported by professionals to encourage them to strive to achieve as much as they possibly can in the years spent at the home.

Sainthill House is a beautiful residential Care Home in Exeter. Located on Cowick Lane, we are walking distance from Alphington, St Thomas, and parts of Exwick, and easily accessible by public transport from other parts of the city.

Rated good across the board by CQC we are focused on achieving two goals, providing outstanding care for our residents and a wonderful place to work for our team. To achieve this, we need to hire great people, nurture them, and ensure we offer them a wonderful place to work

If that sounds like the environment you want to work in then read on. We are recruiting for Care Assistants to work night shifts and can offer contracts for 24,36 or 48 hours per week.

If successful, you will provide support with -
• Personal hygiene and care including daily washing and bathing
• Manual Handling, supporting residents with movement and mobilisation
• Helping at mealtimes to ensure everyone has a great dining experience
• Ensuring residents are involved in activities and social events
• Meeting family and friends, understanding their family’s need and wishes
• Providing person centred care to the highest possible standard
• Promoting independence, ensuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect
