Endometriosis doesn’t just affect the reproductive system, it can impact the whole body. When inflammation and toxin buildup occur, the lymphatic system works overtime trying to restore balance.

💧 Lymphatic drainage may help by:

👉 Encouraging the reduction of inflammation and swelling
👉 Supporting detoxification and fluid balance
👉 Improving circulation around the abdominal and pelvic areas
👉 Promoting relaxation and easing nervous system tension

While lymphatic drainage is not a treatment for endometriosis itself, it can complement medical management and help the body cope with associated symptoms. Regular sessions may assist in reducing discomfort and improving overall wellbeing.

💚 It’s not a cure, but it’s a beautiful way to support your body through the journey.

Huge thank you to my client for agree to me showing this before and after; both taken within the same session. This client had a lot of scar tissue in the lower abdomen following liposuction. The dotty imprint you can see in the before image is from Moberderm, but the visible change came purely from my hands-on lymphatic and scar tissue work.

You can see how much softer, smoother, and more mobile the area looks after just one treatment (even with my rubbish photography skills 😅). It’s always amazing to witness the body respond so quickly to the right touch.

Myth: “Lymphatic drainage can permanently ‘detox’ the body.”

Many people quietly believe this, but it’s not actually true, and it’s rarely discussed. The lymphatic system doesn’t store toxins that can be “flushed out” forever. Instead, it continuously filters and transports waste and immune cells as part of your everyday physiology. Manual lymphatic drainage simply supports and enhances this process, helping the body do what it already does, more efficiently.

💬 To Oil or Not to Oil? 💬

Here’s a question for my fellow Lymphatic Drainage Therapists…

Do you use oil when performing Manual Lymphatic Drainage? 🌿

There seems to be some debate — some say any oil reduces the effectiveness of true MLD, while others feel a light application can help protect the skin or support client comfort.

I’d love to hear your professional opinions and experiences. Let’s open up the conversation — what’s your take? 💧

✨ Before & After ✨

With my client’s kind permission, I’m sharing these before and after photos. She came to me experiencing ongoing swelling in her right calf, following an injury and subsequent infection around six months ago.

We’ve seen positive changes through lymphatic drainage, but this is still a work in progress. The next step is identifying the underlying cause of the persistent swelling, ensuring we can support her body’s full recovery.

Every session is a reminder of how the lymphatic system plays such a vital role in healing and overall wellbeing 💚
