On Monday, our residents celebrated National Chocolate Day with a decadent tasting session at Brandon House, savouring rich flavours and creamy textures. The chocolate tasting experience was a true delight, featuring a diverse array of treats that catered to their sweet tooth.
Meanwhile, Bertie's armchair exercises promoted flexibility and activity from the comfort of their chairs, showcasing the importance of mobility and fun.

On Tuesday, a game of quoits sparked friendly competition and laughter, followed by a creative afternoon of crafting heartfelt Valentine's decorations.

Wednesday's activities included a thrilling game of Snakes and Ladders, a lively sing-along session, and a fascinating presentation by former Police Commissioner Bill, who shared his captivating experiences in the Solomon Islands.

On Thursday, our residents' creativity shone during a Valentine's Day activity, where they decorated heart-shaped shortbread with icing and sprinkles, resulting in delightful creations that brought joy to their faces.

Friday's movement and balance exercises were a resounding success, with residents laughing and engaging in gentle stretches and beach ball pong.

Finally, on Saturday, we celebrated Valentine's Day with a delectable cake and cupcakes crafted by our talented chefs.

Sunday we played Guess the Object for morning activity. In the afternoon we had a Movie afternoon.

Laughter and Joy filled Brandon House this week, we kicked off the week with our weekly session with Bertie and his armchair exercises🏃.Celebrated three Birthdays wishing Happy Birthday🎂🎉 and also a big thankyou to our chefs for the beautifully decorated cakes they made. Live Entertainment that got everyone's feet tapping and singing along to the talented Emma Ramm who performed on Wednesday a Big thankyou. 🎤 Afternoon strolls feeling the fresh breeze on our faces and chatting about the scenery around us.🌳. Bingo madness with fabulous prizes and laughter echoing🤩 Who knew numbers could bring so much joy.

We had a blast this week❤️Started with a lovely walk in the garden breathing in the fresh air🌳. Played a selection of ball games🏐 celebrated a Birthday with tons of fun with a beautiful cake made by our wonderful chef🎂. Live Entertainment from Patrick with songs old and new.🎤 New trend from our hairdresser this week.💈. Church Service with Heidi from Holy Trinity Church visited⛪.

‼️EXMOUTH UPDATE‼️

We can confirm that we have now lifted all cordons which had been in place in Exmouth while the operation to dispose of the unexploded Second World War device was under way.

Residents are free to return to their homes and continue with their daily lives.

Devon County Council, East Devon District Council and partners will remain at the scene for the time being and commence the recovery phase of the operation.

Assistant Chief Constable Nikki Leaper said:

“We’d like to thank local residents for their patience at what we appreciate was an alarming and difficult time. It was amazing to see everyone pull together.

“Safety of residents was always our paramount concern working with the military, East Devon District Council and other partners.

“We are well prepared for incidents such as this, but I’d like to additionally thank all agencies for their support in bringing this matter to a safe conclusion.”

Wednesday Take your aim with plenty of laughs. Afternoon of relaxing Music 🎼

Thursday Fresh cuts and vibes with our lovely hairdresser, 1-2-1 with our lovely residents.

Friday Fun-fit exercises with Dilsha and Making numbers and making memories, had a blast playing Bingo 🎉

Saturday and Sunday A few games of Indoor Boules and Skittles to test your skills.
