It might have been gloomy outside on Friday, but inside Creative Serenity it was anything but dull. While the rain did its thing, we brought a few snowmen to life, and Emily’s creation absolutely stole the show. Our marathon of Pom Pom making continued, with Stephen producing a masterpiece and Mike proudly completing a bauble ready for the Christmas tree.

And now for the exciting part… we’re opening up a brand new Friday afternoon group. Each week will feature story time followed by a creative craft project inspired by the tale. It’s the perfect way to end the week with imagination, laughter, and a little bit of magic.

Today we celebrated our Fabulous Frankies Birthday 🎁 🎉🎂🥳 We sang the Birthday song and shared a delicious caterpillar chocolate cake kindly bought in by Frankies Mum... everyone agreed it was scrumptious 😋

Yippee … the first Wednesday of December did not disappoint. Our Christmas tree is officially up and the festive playlist is in full swing. Today was all about snowy creations, painting beautiful baubles ready for the tree, and dancing our socks off.

The excitement is building and we can’t wait to share the festive fun with you.

Farewell to November’s final Friday … what a day it’s been! We spent the afternoon making sparkly baubles and getting well and truly into the festive spirit. Everyone threw themselves into the activity… well, almost everyone. John took a wonderfully unexpected turn and created a very Christmassy Dalek. Truly, we should all aspire to be a little more like John.

Meanwhile, Sam and Stephen held an impromptu kitchen disco dance-off. Head over to our page and cast your vote for who stole the show.

This weekly session will feature story time to spark ideas for themed creative projects exclusive to Friday afternoons. The last Wednesday of November can only mean one thing… Christmas crafts have officially begun at Creative Serenity.

We kicked things off by painting paper plates with metallic colours, and the shimmer is already looking magical. After adding a touch of sparkle, we’re ready to finish them off as hanging baubles with string.

Of course, the pom-pom train never stops. Both Lee and Mike completed one today, and not to worry…. there will be plenty more waiting for you on Friday.

We rounded off the day with our usual dance and exercise session, followed by singing, playing, and signing along to music.

Wednesdays truly are wonderful at Creative Serenity.
