We kicked off the day with a little drama … our fire alarm decided it needed attention, and that cheerful beep every 60 seconds kept us all jumping until our wonderful caretaker came to the rescue.

Once peace was restored, we got creative! Bauble making for our Christmas garlands was in full swing, and of course, there were more pom-poms to untangle (Ali’s favourite job, as you can tell!).

We rounded off the session with some music and a good boogie. Sam, who’s rarely seen without her hat from October to March and there’s rumours that she might even sleep in it! Well Anita took a liking to it and couldn’t resist trying it on …. and let’s just say it suited her perfectly.

Our morning sessions are now completely full, which we’re so excited about! But don’t worry … we’re opening a brand-new Friday afternoon group, and we’d love for you to join us. This session will include story time to spark creativity and inspire craft projects that will be unique to Fridays only.

If you’d like to come along, we’re offering a free taster session, but spaces are limited … so get in touch with Sam soon to book your spot. You won’t want to miss out on the fun!

What a week … it’s flown by faster than a rocket!
Our Fantastic Friday Group lit up the room this week with their dazzling firework and bonfire art. Using glitter paint, colourful paper strips, and plenty of imagination, everyone created some truly sparkling masterpieces.

Anita had us all giggling (as always), and Jayne, Amy, Emily, Stephen and Nicky kept our toes tapping with some fabulous music.
We were over the moon to welcome Robert back from his cruise … and Sam was thrilled with her new fridge magnet, which already has pride of place in her kitchen.

Next week we’ll be starting our Christmas projects … hooray!
If you’ve got any spare wool, Pringles tubes, or bubble wrap, we’d love your donations to help fuel our festive fun.

We still have a few spaces left for our new Friday afternoon group.
If you’d like to join the laughter, creativity and community spirit, come along for a free taster session. To find out more or to book your place, please get in touch with Sam. All contact details can be found on our page.

Wonderful Wednesday was a whirlwind of creativity and laughter!

We’ve kicked off our Christmas gift projects by rolling out clay to make handmade beads … soon to become one of a kind presents. The paint was flying again for some explosive firework artwork, the instruments were out in full volume, Frankie has finished her fabulous felt portrait and we rounded it all off with our best dance moves in a lively exercise session. Phew, what a day!

We’re always on the lookout for large pieces of bubble wrap, Pringle tubes, and plenty of wool for our never-ending Pom Pom mission… if you have any to spare, we’d love them!

And now for the exciting news…
our brand new Friday afternoon sessions are launching soon!
These will feature a magical story time to spark imagination and inspire themed creative activities.

Spaces are limited, so get in touch with Sam for more details or to grab your spot before they’re gone.

Today we went all in for Halloween and my brilliant gang, along with our fantastic volunteers, didn’t disappoint! Emily absolutely stole the show with her amazing costume, while Nicky and Jayne joined in the spooky fun too. Our lovely volunteers made a great effort … Ellie came dressed as Morticia and looked perfectly gothic and glamorous, and Karen even brought her friend along… a spider that gave us all a fright!
We got creative making more Halloween bunting and skull masks, finished off our pumpkins, and our firework paintings really went off with a bang. We danced to the Monster Mash and couldn’t resist joining in with Ghostbusters.
We did miss our boys, Lee and Mike, who were off enjoying their own Halloween party, we can’t wait to hear all about it next time!
We still have a few spaces left for our new Friday afternoon group. If you’d like more information or to book a free taster session, please get in touch with Sam. All contact details can be found on our page.

Wednesday had us completely spellbound! We’ve been busy little pumpkins this week … finishing off our spooky creations, designing Halloween masks, and getting gloriously messy with glitter paint while making some sparkling firework art.
We’re also thrilled to welcome Ryan, the newest member of our happy gang! He’s now officially part of the group, complete with his very own felt portrait. Imogen and Ryan finished a fabulous pompom too … yes pompoms are here to stay!
We rounded off the day with some groovy dancing, plenty of singing, and lots of laughter. What a way to finish!
Exciting news: we’re launching a new Friday afternoon session in January with five spaces available. If you’d like to join the fun, contact Sam … all the details are on our page.
