Wednesday brought a burst of creativity as we got stuck into making colourful windsocks, ready to dance in the breeze. The plan was to stretch this project over a couple of weeks… but Brian, Ian and Michael had other ideas and powered through at record speed, sending us straight back to the drawing board for Plan B…
There was no slowing down the creativity though. Our ever popular paper plate crafts made a return, this time transforming into a delightful parade of snails.
We were so happy to welcome back our brilliant volunteers, Lucy and Marion, after the Easter break. They were truly missed, and it felt like everything clicked back into place the moment they returned.
We also had some lovely personal news to celebrate. Amy is about to become Auntie Amy, with her new nephew expected any moment. She marked the occasion by making a beautiful welcome card, and we are all looking forward to seeing the first photos.
As always, the day wrapped up with our lively dance and music session, with Lee once again taking centre stage and bringing plenty of energy to the room.
We are also excited to announce that our new Wednesday afternoon session will be launching soon. There are just five places remaining, so if you are interested, please get in touch with Sam to find out more and book a free taster session.
