With Mother’s Day around the corner and with the huge success from last year, we are welcoming families back again to celebrate our amazing mothers at Halsdown. Please book early to get a table, numbers will be limited due to available space. ❤️

A morning of no rain….yipppeeee! Feels like we have waited a long time for the those pesky clouds to give us a break.
Our lovely Sophie and Clare took this opportunity to escape for a stroll around the estuary, and the residents absolutely loved it. Some fresh air, a small amount of vitamin D and a cuddle with a dog has made all the difference today.
Let’s hope this is the first of many dry days so we can get out of hibernation.

Everyone at Halsdown- including the elf would like to invite you to the Christmas party next Thursday 11th December 2-5pm! This year we are so happy to announce that the staff have willingly (cough cough) agreed to star in what can only be described as the most fantastic panto of all time! Best of all you are all invited 🎁🎄🎅

Our summer bbq was today and wow, what amazing weather we had for it! ☀️
I wish I had taken more pictures but I was on Pimms duty!

Halsdown are holding a games morning followed by a BBQ on the 23rd August, all friends and family of Halsdown are welcome to attend. Please pop your name on the form in the foyer along with dietary requirements.

Halsdown would like to invite you for a VE Day celebration afternoon tea on Thursday 8th May. We will aim to start at approximately 4pm and have various activities to mark the anniversary. If anyone is wanting to join us please let a member of staff know 🇬🇧🍰🫖

Easter bonnets were met with a little hesitancy until they got their creative flair going! The parade was judged and the winner was announced as Eileen (with help from daughter Lyn).
Thank you to the staff and relatives for helping as it wouldn’t have been a success without you all!
