Also, to the EU church, organist Margaret Tulloch, and especially to George Power who led the service with sensitivity and caring.
To Peter and Kerry at Oblo for the superb buffet, Occasions for the beautiful floral tribute, Eyemouth Fishermen's Choir, and the doctors and nurses at Eyemouth Medical Practice who gave Walter such care and attention .
Lastly, to David Martin and staff for the professional and caring way they dealt with Walter.

After a brave battle with MND (Motor Neurone Disease), Steff, aged 59 years, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Wednesday 25th March 2026, surrounded by his loving family & his loving dogs. Devoted Partner of Angie, ‘Superdad’ to Harry, and Stepdad to Lauren and Kieran, much adored brother to Roy and Valerie, and the Late Louise.
A service will take place on Thursday 9th April 2026, 1.30pm, at Houndwood Crematorium to which all family and friends are welcome.
Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Palliative Care.

The family of the late and much loved Duncan would like to thank everyone for their condolences, cards, flowers and support following their sad loss of their beloved Dad and Gramps, Duncan.

Thank you to David Martin and staff for their care and support, Rev. Andy Haddow for his comforting words during the church service, the ladies from Occasions for the beautiful floral tributes. Many thanks to Mr Sandy Mutch for playing his pipes for Duncan, and to Andrea, Justin and staff at The Ship for their kindness and friendship afterwards.

Thank you to everyone who has sent cards, flowers and messages for their love, support and paying their respects during Duncan’s wonderful life. The family are grateful for the kind monetary donations totalling £1000.00 to Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland. Finally a heartfelt thanks to the paramedics and staff of Ward 5, Borders General Hospital for their care and compassion.

He passed away at the Borders General Hospital on 10th March 2026, aged 82 years. A service to celebrate the life of Michael will take place at 11.30am on Thursday 26th March 2026 at St Margaret’s RC Church, Duns followed by interment in Preston Cemetery and refreshments in Preston Village Hall to which all friends are welcome.
