Peacefully at Lennel House, Coldstream, on Wednesday 12th November 2025, Mary passed away in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late David Young, dear Mum to Moira and Jim, much loved sister to Bobby, Nana to four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, Aunt and a good friend to many.
A service will take place at Houndwood Crematorium on Monday 24th November at 1:30 p.m., to which all family and friends are welcome.

We are so grateful for everyone who attended mum's service, she was clearly loved by so many.

For all the heartfelt messages by numerous visits, phone calls cards and flowers. To all those who helped Robin whilst in The Stroke Unit in The Borders General Hospital and then Kelso Hospital. To Occasions Florists, Houndwood Crematorium, Ben Foreman, Marie Freeburn and Chirnside Bowling Club for all contributing to create a service and send-off befitting the gentleman he was. Thanks to all those contributing to the collection whereby £592 was donated which will be split between the chosen charities.
