As the year draws to a close, it’s common to think of the people who are special to us – especially those we've lost. That’s why we’ve chosen to take part in Light a Candle.

We’re pleased to announce the return of Light a Candle this Christmas!

Taking part in this Christmas’s Light a Candle gives you the opportunity to create online memorials throughout the festive period.

Christmas is a special time to celebrate with family and friends, and our virtual candles are a thoughtful way to pay tribute to loved ones who are no longer with us.

We'll be sharing virtual candles on our page between 15 and 21 December. There's no cost for you or your family to get involved and create an online memorial.
We look forward to sharing your memorials from 15 December.

It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister Irene Thompson.
Irene passed away at home on the 5th of December surrounded by her loving family.
She was a devoted and much-loved mother to Leanne (Stephanie), Lindsay (Chris), Michael (Vicky), and Susan (Ian). She was a cherished grandmother to Liam, Albert, Hallie, and Ella, and a much-loved sister of David.
Irene's warmth, strength, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A private service will be held in accordance with Irene’s wishes.
