Our Mothers Day window is now on display. Our heartfelt thanks to Beesley Blooms for helping us bring this tribute together.

We have crafted a gentle tribute to honour all mothers, those with us today and those we lovingly remember.

This time of year can hold many emotions, our hope is that this display offers a moment of peace, reflection, and gratitude for the women who shaped our lives with love.

If you are passing by, we warmly invite you to call in and collect a complimentary packet of Flower Seeds - a small gesture to honour the memories that continue to bloom in our hearts.

Today, Greens Funeral Services pauses with gratitude to mark National Funeral Directors Awareness Day.

We honour the dedication, compassion, and quiet strength of all funeral professionals who guide families through some of life’s most difficult moments. Our own team, along with the wider community of celebrants, clergy, florists, crematoria and burial staff, musicians, and support partners work together to ensure every family is cared for with dignity and kindness.

Thank you to everyone who serves with such heart. Your work matters more than words can say.

We were delighted by a visit this morning from some wonderfully costumed children from Eynsham Community Primary School. Antony — second from the left in the mask — and Miranda, dressed as a beautiful ballerina, stopped by with their friends on their way to school to show off their fantastic World Book Day outfits.

Supporting our local community is incredibly important to us, and moments like these remind us how special it is to be part of such a vibrant village. We are proud to celebrate the imagination and spirit of the children who make Eynsham such a wonderful place.

Greens Funeral Services work closely with our trusted local florist, at Beesley Blooms to create every floral tribute with care to reflect the family’s wishes with dignity.

From the moment the flowers are ordered and prepared to the delivery on the day of the service. Our Funeral Director, Angela, takes great pride in ensuring every detail is just right, even down to her flower boutonnière.

We are proud to support the children of The Batt C of E Primary School with their fantastic Hungry Caterpillar window design for World Book Day 2026! 🐛🍎

It was wonderful to see creativity, reading, and community spirit come together. A big well done to all the pupils for their colourful work and bringing a much-loved story to life.

Events like this show the power of books to inspire young minds and bring our community together.

Today we join with many others across the World in celebrating World Book Day. We have chosen to honour the stories written by The Reverend Wilbert Awdry OBE.

Our Eynsham office has acknowledged his works by creating a Thomas The Tank Engine theme Window display.

His books have and continue to bring comfort, connection and memories.
