Join me for some fun, 😎summer themed classes😎 with lots of songs and exciting props for your baby to engage with. The class will be followed by snacks and mocktails🍹, 2 arts and crafts activities 🧑‍🎨and a wee photo opportunity. The classes are for 1 or 2 children (twins are counted as 1 child, other multiples as 2) aged 👶4 months to 4 years🧒 plus 1 adult and cost £18 for the 2 hour class.

🤩One of my favorite parts🤩 of my job is being able to get new toys for all my babies to play with😁. Every week there is a 🦄theme🐥 and I like to have as many options as possible so that it feels new 🐷each week. So this week I got my first lamb🐑 toys and added to my 🐘elephant and lion🦁 collection! ROAR!!

🧑‍🍼Nurturing Flows: Infant Feeding🤱

Even before our babies arrive, we often think about how we are going to feed them. It can be a difficult decision with many advocating for both breastfeeding and bottlefeeding, and the subsequent pressure of it being an either/or decision. 😬However, that is not the case. The way we choose to feed our babies can be as unique as us, so it is important to get informed to make a decision that feels good and true to our own family structure.❤

Nurturing Flows: Infant Feeding looks at the way we feed our babies in the first few month and covers everything from how we feed our babies, to what issues we might discover along the way. We look at equipment that you might want to have, when to purchase them and the risks and benefits of their usage. We also dig in a little to the benefits of responsive feeding and how we can honor this whether we breastfeed or bottlefeed.

This Workshop is new, and whether it is delivered as a group or as a 1:1 workshop, I have yet to decide. But I am very excited to add it to my roster!🤩

A baby in hindsight: About Me

😊Hello, My name is Lesley and I am a mum of 2 crazy boys!😊

I first started my perinatal education journey back in 2020 but my journey truly started in 2017 after the birth of my first son. I started to volunteer with Walk Forth Bumps & Babies (trading under a different name back then!) and then volunteered with the Forth Valley Breastfeeding in 2019. During this time, I became fascinated with the amount of information out there about birthing, breastfeeding and all things baby!

In 2021 during the COVID pandemic, and whilst on maternity with my second child, I started my year long training with The Daisy Foundation to become a perinatal educator. During this time I learnt so much more information and couldn’t wait to start sharing it all with my community! I started teaching my very own Daisy classes in 2022.

Roll on April 2023 and the announcement was made to us teachers, that The Daisy Foundation would be ceasing trading as of the end of August😱. I decided at this point that creating my own business was right for me and was excited at the prospect of growing and creating a brand of my own.🤩

And so NURTURING FLOWS was born!

I am very excited to continue to grow my business as the years go on and start to grow our very own community of parents and families!

One thing that I am very keen to do is get as much information as I can, to individuals for free. This is why my blogs are so important to me to create.The other thing I am looking into is funding so I can offer free or reduced cost places within my classes to those in our communities that need it. If the pandemic has taught us anything, it is how fragile our routines and expectations can actually be. It is heart wrenching to watch someone's life be turned upside down as circumstances change, and I don’t want that to stop people from being able to access my classes! So watch this space!

I am very excited to be on this journey and I can’t wait to share it with you all!
