Christmas Memorial Service – All Welcome 🖤🤍

We warmly invite you to join us at St James Church, Thornhill Road this Sunday 14th December at 5pm for our Christmas Service of Remembrance.

This gentle and heartfelt service is a time to come together and honour all those we hold close in our hearts but who won’t be with us this Christmas. We’ll reflect, remember, and celebrate the love that continues to live on.

After the service, you are welcome to stay for a light buffet, a comforting cuppa, and good company. No one should feel alone at this time of year, and we would be honoured to share this space of warmth and remembrance with you.

Please feel free to come along with family and friends 🖤🤍

This is a gentle reminder that our last bereavement "get together" of 2025 takes place tonight, Wednesday, 10th December at 5:30 pm for 6 pm in the Park Hotel, Camelon Road, Falkirk.
As always, all are very welcome, regardless of whether or not we have cared for your family.

This is not a structured support group. Just a group of people who have all experienced loss and the difficulties which come along with it, coming together to eat, listen and support one another. You do not need to book a space, it's simply a drop-in if you are free and feel it would be beneficial. Feel free to bring a friend or family member if this would help make things more comfortable until you know everyone.
All are very welcome.

For more information contact Sam or Andrew on 01324 636446. Looking forward to seeing you all 🖤🤍

Christmas can be a beautiful time… but it can also be a difficult one.
Are you, or do you know someone, who will be alone this Christmas?
Is this your first Christmas without a loved one or someone special?
Or perhaps the day itself is simply something you struggle with.

You don’t have to spend Christmas Day on your own.
We warmly invite you to join our family and other families who truly understand. Together, we’ll make Christmas Day special again, a place filled with friendship, compassion, and people who “get it.”

A hot meal, good company, gentle conversation, and a welcoming space await you. No judgment, no expectations, just community, kindness, and support.

Everyone is welcome — individuals, couples, or families.
If you would like to help us make the day special for others, we’ve included a donations link below. We are grateful for all kinds of donations, big or small. Your support helps us reach more people who need a little extra love this Christmas.

Resting safely in the care of our family 🖤🤍

TAYLOR, Stephen
Bog

With heavy hearts, on behalf of his loving family, we announce the passing of Stephen Taylor.

Stephen passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, 28th November 2025, aged 37 years. A beloved son, amazing dad, devoted papa, cherished brother, loving cousin, cherished uncle, and a best friend to many.

The greatest love of Stephen's life was his children. They were his world, and everything he did showed how proud he was to be their dad. He showed his family how much he cared through his kindness and his laughter.

Losing him so suddenly has left a space no words can truly fill. But the joy he brought, the comfort he gave, and the love he shared will be remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Though his time was far too short, his impact will stay with us forever.

A service of celebration for the life of Stephen will take place in Falkirk Crematorium on Monday, 22nd December, at 11:30 am.

Family and friends are welcome to attend.

Further service and donation details can be found on Stephen's dedicated memorial page below:

It is a great honour for us to be entrusted with Stephen's care and service arrangements. As always, our thoughts and love remain with all of Stephen's family members as well as all of his many friends, during this extremely difficult time.

Rest in eternal peace, Stephen 🖤🤍

“A spark like yours never fades; it lives on in every laugh you gave us.”

YOUNG, Alistair
Polmont

With heavy hearts, on behalf of his loving family, we announce the passing of Alistair Young (Ally).

Ally passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025, aged 46 years. A beloved son, amazing dad and a great friend to many.

Ally’s passing was sudden and a shock his loved ones are still trying to comprehend. Through their grief, they hold tightly to the light he brought into every life he touched and to the many smiles he created along the way.

A loving father, Jack and Jamie were his world. The bond they shared was like no other. He was so proud of his boys in every way a father can be, and he loved them with a depth that will continue to be felt throughout their lives.

He was also a loving son, deeply cherished by his family. His gentle nature, his loyalty, and the way he always made time for those he cared about brought immense pride to his parents. He showed his love not just in words, but in the small, everyday moments. To them, he wasn’t simply a son, but a source of joy, strength, and endless love.

To his friends, he was someone you could rely on without question. His friendship was a gift, one that will be remembered and treasured by everyone lucky enough to know him.

Family and friends will take comfort in the many memories he leaves behind, and in knowing that his love lives on, especially in Jack and Jamie. He will be deeply missed, and he will never be forgotten.

A service of celebration for the life of Ally will take place in Brighton's Parish Church on Tuesday, 16th December, at 12 noon followed by an interment in New Grandsable Cemetery.

Family and friends are welcome to attend.

The family of the much-loved Jean Lister would like to express their deepest gratitude to all friends and family who gathered to celebrate her life on Monday, December 1st, at Falkirk Crematorium.

A special thank you goes to Independent Celebrant Dougie Smith for delivering such a beautiful service, capturing Jean so perfectly, and for the support and guidance he offered to the family. Heartfelt thanks also go to Betty at Forever Flowers Denny for Jean’s beautiful floral tributes.

The family would also like to extend their appreciation to the staff at the Grahamston Bowling Club for their kindness, service, and support during Jean’s funeral tea.

Additionally, the family is deeply grateful for the generous donations made in Jean’s memory. These will now be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charity in her loving honour.

Jean left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her absence creates a space that can never truly be filled, and she will be missed more than words can express by her family and friends. The memories she leaves behind will be cherished forever by all who loved her dearly.

Caring for Jean, supporting her wonderful family, and learning more about the lovely person she was has been both a privilege and an honour. We will continue to support them in the weeks and months ahead, in any way we can.

Rest in eternal peace, Jean 🖤🤍

“May she rest in peace and love. Her spirit will always be remembered.”

SHARP, Stephen
Falkirk

With heavy hearts, and on behalf of his loving family, we announce the passing of Stephen Sharp.

Stephen passed away peacefully at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on Thursday, 20th November 2025, aged 53 years. A beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and great friend to many.

Stephen lived his life to the fullest. Even through challenges, he met the world with joy and determination, touching everyone who knew him.

His family meant everything to him, and the love he gave in his own unique way will always stay with them. He also had a deep passion for the Glasgow Rangers; whether watching the match, talking about players, or proudly wearing his colours, it was a true part of who he was.

Stephen brought light and warmth wherever he went. Though losing him leaves a silence, his memory lives on in every story, every smile, and every heart he touched. He will be missed every day and loved forever.

A service of celebration for the life of Stephen will take place in St James Church on Wednesday, 17th December, at 10:15 am, followed by an interment in Camelon Cemetery.

Marking the 1st of December, our beautiful Christmas memorial tree takes pride of place in our new arranging room. A heartfelt symbol of love, remembrance, and the enduring bonds we share with those who are no longer with us. It lovingly holds the names of all those special people we have had the privilege of caring for, each one a life remembered and cherished.

We know, through our own personal grief journey, just how difficult this time of year can be. Christmas, though often spoken of as joyful, can also highlight the quiet spaces where loved ones once stood. For many, it becomes a season of remembrance, reflection, and gratitude for the precious time we were given with those we miss so deeply.

If you would like your loved one’s name to be placed on our memorial tree this year, please reach out to us. It is our honour to remember them with you. Through every light and every name lovingly hung, we hope our tree brings comfort and connection to all who visit.

As we approach the festive period, we hold close in our thoughts those who are grieving, feeling overwhelmed, separated from family, struggling financially, carrying emotional burdens, or simply doing their best to get through each day. Please remember, you are not alone. We are always here for you, and our kettle is always on.

Your loved ones’ memories will always be cherished through us, today and always.

With love always

Sam & Andrew 🖤🤍

Since moving into our new funeral home, which is also our family home, many people have asked how things work now that we’ve brought our working life and family life under one roof, and it’s a question we’re always happy to answer. We’ve carefully combined our two greatest passions, family and our calling as funeral directors, and we truly feel it works beautifully.

To help show how everything comes together, we had a short video made to guide you through our space. It gives a look inside the areas where we live and work, including:

Our peaceful arranging room and office, where we welcome families with warmth and care.
The beautifully prepared room where your loved one rests, offering families the chance to spend time together in a calm, comforting environment.
Our kitchen and family living area, which is very much the heart of our home.
Our large back driveway, where our full funeral fleet is kept, leading to our fully converted mortuary facility, which is completely separate from our house.

Every part of our home and workplace has been created with love, thought, and care — just as we approach everything we do for the families we serve. By bringing our worlds together, we ensure that every loved one in our care is never alone, always treated with dignity, and looked after to the highest standards around the clock.

This is more than just a home, and more than just a workplace. It is a space filled with immense love, compassion, respect, and dedication, a place where family and service come together in the truest sense and we hope you all love it as much as we do. 🖤🤍

We would both like to thank Cris and Kai from Falkirk Drone & Photography for their patience and support in making our video.
