As the Year of Snake comes to a close, here are a few things I’ve learned and realised over the past 12 months:

1. Nothing lasts forever, some things are meant to go and that’s okay.
2. Loving yourself doesn’t mean you are happy with the image you see in the mirror everyday. Self love is about nurturing and respecting yourself enough on the days you don’t feel your best. It’s about treating yourself with kindness.
3. We are all far too hard on ourselves - lighten up and get off your own back.
4. Your life is yours and what you do, really is nobody else’s business.
5. Doing something you love doesn’t need to make sense to anyone else.
6. Your light and aura radiates and attracts way more than you realise.
7. Hard times will pass and learning to take something positive from tough experiences will help you build resilience and optimism.
