Winter Solstice 🌑

The longest night arrives quietly.
Just an invitation, not a demand.

This is the season of slowing right down—of listening to the body instead of pushing it. Nature has withdrawn its energy, roots deep in the dark soil, restoring rather than performing.

The Winter Solstice asks us to honour that same rhythm.

To rest nervous systems that have been holding so much.
Maybe it’s time to release what has quietly become heavy.
To make space for what wants to be without rushing it into the light.

From here, the days will lengthen. Hardly notable at first but gently and steadily . Healing often works the same way.

If you’re feeling tender, tired, reflective, or emotional, you’re not “behind.”
You’re in season.

Light a candle tonight.
Offer gratitude to your body for carrying you this far.
And trust that the return of light has already begun.

Thank you all for joining me for such a beautiful, cosy morning of letting go.
It meant so much to share my first ever workshop with you all.

A special thank-you to Jen from Tranquility 21 for co-hosting and for welcoming us into the perfect space at Yoga Flow Studio in Grangemouth.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be running solo workshops in the New Year, once a month. I’d love your input — would you prefer Friday evenings, Sunday mornings, or a mix of both?

Each month will have its own theme, flowing with the wheel of the year, the seasons, or even a little moon magic.
