🔹️Pain when squatting???
🛑Well stop doing it... for now...
🔹️Here are some steps you can take to reduce your pain.
🔹️Knees are tricky; they need enough rest for the pain to subside, but enough load to keep them conditioned.
Try these:
- Change the range (box squats)
- Reduce the load (tempo over weight)
- Shift focus to the posterior (knee is under heavy flexion)
- Use isos in the meantime (static holds)
🔹️Pain is situational, so some of these might not suit you - but they're a great place to start.
