“This picture is the reality of rehab -4 years ago I couldn't even move my fingers , two years ago I couldn’t fold a thing and just look at what I achieved over several hours sitting on a stool😀I cleaned the drawer with my steamer just cos i could I'm not proud of myself but I am seriously delighted- It was a chaotic dump a couple of days ago with the only thing that I could say was that everything was clean. 🚩 National Stress Awareness Day was established with a powerful purpose: to raise awareness about the impact of stress and promote effective ways to manage it.

This day is to understand the roots of our stress, and take small, meaningful steps towards a more balanced life. We encourage people to learn stress management techniques and recognise that stress is a human response to life’s pressures.

DE-STRESSORS Life Fit Wellness can provide:

✅ Exercise classes - Pilates, Chair Fit, Nordic Walking and Strength training. All exercise classes are an excellent way of focusing your mind on physical activity and allowing you to better deal with whatever stress comes your way.

Arlene was missing from the clinic this afternoon as she was at home taking part in the Scottish Parkinson’s Physical Activity Network online event.

Great to hear about research, resources, and from real people sharing lived experiences.

Thanks to all contributing and for those making the event happen.

Taking part at home gave the advantage of having Murphy the cat as company and he was definitely paying attention. He especially loved the dance section😂
