It's ! What better day to share with you some of the mental health benefits our members have found from group singing:

“Choir has helped my mental health & wellbeing tremendously…the best thing that ever happened to me…it’s made the world of difference.”

"I rarely left the house, never exercised, never saw another human for months. Now…I have made some good friends that I meet outside choir & share interests outside choir."

"It gives me a real sense of belonging. I found this choir to be extremely welcoming."

“All are welcomed here. I know I healed, mental wellbeing is restored.”

“I feel I’m important & I belong.”

“I’ve always felt so much better after a choir session.”

“Laughter & unity enhances mood.”

“I am often physically unwell which affects my mental health. Looking forward to choir motivates me to get out of bed, get ready & start the day. Learning new songs keeps my brain sharp.”

“It’s a very stress free environment. People are purposeful, cheerful, engaged - it’s catching.”

“It greatly benefits my mental health & wellbeing…connecting with non-judgemental people & the calmness of singing together.”

“Choir gives a sense of belonging to choir & community. It’s a great mood booster!”
