Reflexology is a fantastic complementary therapy.

But life is all about balance and requires other areas to be all about variety.

πŸ‘£ Have regular reflexology
Invest in yourself and enjoy this time to unwind, rest, reset and come out glowing and brand new.

🍏 Have a varied diet
The more varied the diet the greater your palate. Food is out there to be enjoyed, so embrace all new food options.
Include fruits and vegetables of every colour, proteins and carbs.

πŸ₯› Stay hydrated
The body performs better when it is hydrated, aim for your 2l a day, sip sip.

πŸ€ΈπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Exercise when you can
Exercise doesn't have to be scary, it can be a walk, pilates, yoga, home workouts, through to gym and high intensity workouts. Whatever floats your boat, start low and build over time πŸ’ͺ🏼

β˜€οΈ Embrace sunlight
We don't always get a lot of it, so need to embrace where we can. As soon as the sun shines, get out in it, even if for ten minutes.

🌳 Enjoy nature
Nature has a way of calming the nervous system, a way of clearing your head. Nothing beats a walk through the forest, or along the beach front, or across fields with cows, sheep and goats.

🀘🏼 Have fun
Most importantly have fun, find the things that get you happy, be it dancing, raving, singing, exercising, creating, crocheting, reading, photography, learning a new language is all incredible for the brain.
Everything will be a bit tough to start with, but look at the adventures you'll go on learning/taking part the new thing.

Until next time, stay calm πŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Can Reflexology treat everyone?

The true and honest answer is no, as therapists we need to take into consideration certain listed conditions when doing a consultation, and prior to each treatment, to ensure the client isn't contraindicated and is safety to proceed.

So if you suffer with any of the conditions listed above, unfortunately we can not treat you.

As much as we believe Reflexology to be an incredible complementary therapy, safety of the client always comes first.

So bear this mind when looking into reflexology before booking in with a therapist.

Until next time,
Stay calm, stay safe πŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘£

What are the benefits of reflexology?

From the image, need I say more?

When the body is relaxed, it responds differently and you glow beautifully.

For my training, I had to complete 100 case studies, including 6 with presenting conditions.
Across those ranges of feet I've worked with people who have:

πŸ‘£ Endometriosis
πŸ‘£ Those who want to focus on fertility
πŸ‘£ Pregnancy
πŸ‘£ Menopause
πŸ‘£ Arthritis
πŸ‘£ IBS
πŸ‘£ Anxiety
πŸ‘£ Depression
πŸ‘£ Fibromyalgia
πŸ‘£ Diabetics - Type 1 & 2
To name but a few and all who saw improvements to their symptoms with regular treatments.

My clients range in age, from children through to the elderly, the all round complementary therapy.

Please note that I cannot diagnose or cure any condition, but as a complementary therapy, I can help manage those symptoms.
*providing the client isn't contraindicated, reflexology can certainly help with areas like pain management.

Gotta be worth a try right?

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a complementary therapy that can be completed, most commonly on the feet, but also on the face, hands and ears.

As reflexologists, we are working the reflex points on each of these areas which are thought to run in line with the body.

The example of the footmap will highlight this concept.

Tomorrow, I bring you, the benefits of reflexology.

Until then, stay calm πŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Allow me to introduce myself...

For anyone new following me, or anyone on the look out for a reflexologist on the south coast, UK.

Who am I?
My name is Jessye and I am a level 3 qualified reflexologist and holistic therapist.
Which means I get the pleasure of providing relaxing treatments that allow the body to come back to a state of calm.

I am a registered member of the AOR which ensures I bring the best quality to my treatments, with access to new research, knowledge and professional development.

Why did I get into reflexology?
Reflexology came about after a traumatic first birth. I didn't want history to repeat itself and knew I had anxiety moving forward to my second pregnancy. I was recommended reflexology to help ease my worries and that's where I met Catherine Dawkins at Cherque Farm Holistics.

What balm/lotion do I use?
Because I love supporting local I found and incredible product with Obvs Skincare, the organic balm is perfect for nourishing the feet, it lasts the length of a treatment without drying out, but also doesn't leave any residue. I also find because it's unscented and organic I can use for all skin types

Please look up obvs skincare here for the entire range:

www.obvs-skincare.co.uk

What else do I enjoy doing?
πŸ’§I feel most at home in water
🀱🏼I enjoy providing treatments at The Natal Bean, supporting parents and their growing families with Laura and the team
πŸ’•The other images are the various adventures I've been on and it doesn't stop here.
I've had moments in life where I couldn't do the things I wanted, gotta love health curve balls, so I try and embrace the times when all is well.
Life is an adventure and I'm sure as hell going to have one 🀘🏼

Until next time, stay calm
