Soooooo after the January blues I went and had myself a little session and what a wonderful place this is......lots of wellness goodies to be played with.

My offering today was the hydrotherapy massage bed and the floatation pod, both involving water, one gave a good pummeling and the other, a very cathartic experience that took away all the aches and pains simply by me just floating......win win.

Happy belated new year everyone!

Sorry I'm a little late to the party but last week was very much about getting back into routine, busy with work and trying to break the cycle of cheese and chocolate in my everyday life for the past two weeks.

But we're here, ready to rave and treating clients to some much needed relaxation whilst in the throes of darkness.

Don't believe the hype that now is the time for any major breakthroughs of 'new year, new me', hibernation mode is still in full swing and January is proving a very good month for snuggling down with some much needed reflexology 👣 and massage 💆🏼‍♀️.

And that as they say, is that!

The last of my clients treated for 2025 and onward ever onward into 2026.

I would like to say a MASSIVE Thank You to everyone who has booked in with me and allowed me to bring some calm to their lives this year, you are the dream 💖

This year has been a somewhat turbulent one and one I'm not going to be sad to see the back of.

But if it has taught me anything it is that I can overcome, I can achieve and I will still do my absolute best regardless.

So I want 2026 to continue in a fashion of development, growth, various challenges (cause hey who like a challenge) and hopefully you do too!!!!

Very pleased for announce that I have extended my learning in the field of massage to include Pregnancy and Postnatal Massage 🤰🏼

An incredibly important time when well being and calmness is paramount.

I am also mobile so it makes it a lot easier for the client, I bring all the comfy pillows and blankets to wrap you up like Christmas and to give you and bump all the relaxation before the big arrival.

Reflexology is a fantastic complementary therapy.

But life is all about balance and requires other areas to be all about variety.

👣 Have regular reflexology
Invest in yourself and enjoy this time to unwind, rest, reset and come out glowing and brand new.

🍏 Have a varied diet
The more varied the diet the greater your palate. Food is out there to be enjoyed, so embrace all new food options.
Include fruits and vegetables of every colour, proteins and carbs.

🥛 Stay hydrated
The body performs better when it is hydrated, aim for your 2l a day, sip sip.

🤸🏼‍♀️ Exercise when you can
Exercise doesn't have to be scary, it can be a walk, pilates, yoga, home workouts, through to gym and high intensity workouts. Whatever floats your boat, start low and build over time 💪🏼

☀️ Embrace sunlight
We don't always get a lot of it, so need to embrace where we can. As soon as the sun shines, get out in it, even if for ten minutes.

🌳 Enjoy nature
Nature has a way of calming the nervous system, a way of clearing your head. Nothing beats a walk through the forest, or along the beach front, or across fields with cows, sheep and goats.

🤘🏼 Have fun
Most importantly have fun, find the things that get you happy, be it dancing, raving, singing, exercising, creating, crocheting, reading, photography, learning a new language is all incredible for the brain.
Everything will be a bit tough to start with, but look at the adventures you'll go on learning/taking part the new thing.

Can Reflexology treat everyone?

The true and honest answer is no, as therapists we need to take into consideration certain listed conditions when doing a consultation, and prior to each treatment, to ensure the client isn't contraindicated and is safety to proceed.

So if you suffer with any of the conditions listed above, unfortunately we can not treat you.

As much as we believe Reflexology to be an incredible complementary therapy, safety of the client always comes first.

So bear this mind when looking into reflexology before booking in with a therapist.

What are the benefits of reflexology?

When the body is relaxed, it responds differently and you glow beautifully.

For my training, I had to complete 100 case studies, including 6 with presenting conditions.
Across those ranges of feet I've worked with people who have:

Please note that I cannot diagnose or cure any condition, but as a complementary therapy, I can help manage those symptoms.

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a complementary therapy that can be completed, most commonly on the feet, but also on the face, hands and ears.

As reflexologists, we are working the reflex points on each of these areas which are thought to run in line with the body.

The example of the footmap will highlight this concept.

This week is World Reflexology Week and I will be bringing you information regarding Reflexology, it's benefits and all the information in between.

Allow me to introduce Big Foot and Little Foot, my crochet feet, which will enable me to explain certain reflex points of the feet.
I understand they aren't anatomically correct but you get the idea 😁
