Unfortunately any product you buy off a shelf no matter where it is will contain a harmful chemical preservative - these chemicals not only absorb into your skin & blood stream but they can make skin even drier and can aggravate conditions such as eczema- psoriasis and dryness because of the harshness of the chemicals present.

At Tropic we share all of our products with the Think Dirty App (free to download) as we believe everyone should be able to check the level of toxic ingredients in their daily products. To be a clean and free from chemicals product they must have a rating of zero….with zero being the cleanest. Those with a rating of 8 contain the most chemicals and are therefore the ones most likely to aggravate skin.

As you can see from the comparison below Tropic body washes (and virtually EVERY Tropic product) rates a healthy zero.

Our body washes are creamy & hydrating but none foaming as there are no SLS foaming agents- they are ph balanced and made using the freshest ingredients made fresh to order.
