As far as training days go, it really doesn’t get any better! 8.5 hours of learning from the wax removal guru himself, Neel Raithatha (aka the Wax Whisperer) using the formidable WAXscope! To receive training from such a brilliant and humble man is awesome enough in its self, but to purchase a piece of equipment that is unparalleled in terms of magnification and quality is a total game changer. 2 years ago today since I launched 'Exclusively Ears' on social media. I'm not entirely sure how 2 years have already passed but it's amazing to look back at where it all started, to see how far I have come! I truly love what I do, and I love sharing the knowledge I have gained over the years with anyone who will listen!

To all my wonderful clients who have trusted me to look after their ears and continue to do so, I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and support and I will continue to deliver high quality, professional ear care with that personal touch for as long as I possibly can.

Ear wax removal service at Petersfield Community Hospital delivered by Leanne, a health care professional with over 20 years experience, including specialist training in ear anatomy, physiology and pathology. Your ears and your hearing in safe hands!

My clinic is held once a week on alternate Fridays and Saturdays. I have two appointments available on Saturday 21st June, so give me a call on 07306 884021 if you are suffering with muffled hearing, itchy, full or uncomfortable ears, whistling hearing aids, tinnitus or dizziness, as it could just be wax!

Ear wax removal is an invasive procedure that should only be undertaken by health care professionals with extensive knowledge and experience of ear anatomy, physiology and pathology. Historically, ear wax removal was accessible through the NHS but since this is no longer the case, there has been a rise in 'lay people' providing this service with minimal training and no clinical background. Since ear wax removal is currently unregulated, this is a very worrying prospect indeed!

In the same way that you wouldn't ask a teacher to carry out an MOT on your car, or ask a nurse to represent you in court, ear wax removal is a clinical procedure that should only be undertaken by individuals with appropriate training, knowledge and experience.

To ensure your ears receive the care they deserve, it is important to ask if the person undertaking the procedure is a health care professional with an in depth knowledge of ear health, and experience to assess and remove ear wax. Do not assume that national companies who provide this service are a safer option either as they too train non-clinical staff to fulfil this role.

Don't be afraid to ask questions! Your ears and your hearing are precious. You will not offend a suitably qualified clinician when you do this.

It has been a while, but I'm back on social media and I will try my best to post more often! Life is so hectic but I have so much I want to share with you!

Over the past few months I have been incredibly busy cleaning ears and meeting some wonderful people. I was lost for words when I was given this poem by a delightful gentleman after removing wax from both of his ears. Such a thoughtful gesture which makes me smile every time I read it.
