Doorstep Entertainments were visitors this afternoon and thrilled the residents with lots of costume changes and lots of musical genres. What were you doing on this dull, wet Friday afternoon ?!?

The Mary Rose museum visited us today and explained the story of The Mary Rose and the events of 1545 in particular. The residents really enjoyed this informative event and felt honoured that they were able to handle artefacts from that day (almost 500 years old) ⚓️⛵️

The residents are back into the swing of their exercise class, though I did notice them all eating cake with their coffee/ tea/ hot chocolate in the bistro afterwards 🤔🤔🤭

103 YEARS OLD !!! One of the residents, an ex RM Commando celebrated his birthday in style today. We were privileged to have had the Royal Marines band serenade not only the ‘birthday boy’ but also the residents. What a show;not only for the Royal Marines supporting an ex colleague but the residents were thrilled by the talent. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon tea served afterwards too 🎉🎉🎉
