Back in February while I was in Cape Town, a good friend asked me a simple question:
“Why don’t you sell your own foot cream?”

I’ve worked in foot health for over 10 years, and honestly, it had never crossed my mind… but that one question sparked something. Could I actually do it? Could I create something that would genuinely help people?

Once home in the UK, I dived straight in — researching, taking online courses, picking the brains of other natural skincare makers, and experimenting with formulas in every spare moment. I found a passion I didn’t even know I had.

By August, I started handing out little test pots to friends, family and my lovely Foot Nook patients. Their feedback has been incredible — so encouraging and motivating.

And now… it’s finally ready.
🧡 The Foot Nook’s very own Magnesium Balm — created with care, knowledge and heaps of love.

Magnesium is known to help ease aching joints, support deeper sleep and promote calm, while the essential oils soothe tired legs and help you unwind.

The best part? It’s made by someone who truly understands feet. 🦶✨

One of my lovely clients has launched a local Chatty Cafe Knowle Village, every Tuesday morning.

What a great idea!

Shashi's Kitchen has joined The Chatty Cafe Scheme - reducing loneliness to get people chatting!

Look out for the 'Chatter & Natter table' every Tuesday between 10 and 11.30 am.

The Chatty Café is a great way of encouraging people to talk to others. The scheme is the brainchild of Alexandra Hoskyn, who founded it after a miserable day at a supermarket café with her infant son, where she noticed that no one was talking to each other. She found that by simply putting ‘Chatter & Natter’ signs on tables in cafes it created a space for people to talk.

A Chatter & Natter table brings people together and everyone is invited!

Who can join in?
Anyone... if you're on your own, in a couple, with a friend, if you're a carer why not sit there with who you care for, mums and babies, dads and babies, grandparents and babies, young people, older people and anyone in between! It’s a great way to meet new people in your community.

What do I do?
When you are deciding where to sit, look for the Chatter & Natter table and sit there! Stay for five minutes while you have your drink or longer. It’s not about making life-long friends, just having good old fashioned human interaction!

It's official! The Chatty Cafe Scheme is reducing loneliness and social isolation by getting people chatting! Coventry University have published their May 2022 initial report and the key findings are that 100% of Chatter & Natter table users said it made them feel less lonely and socially isolated, plus, 97% of venues feel that the Chatter & Natter tables are encouraging community spirit. The Chatty Café Scheme commented that, “The coronavirus pandemic has highlighted those experiencing loneliness and we know that simply having a chat can brighten someone’s day.”

A huge thank you to Paul and his team at Wickhams Protyre Garage (now in Segensworth)!
Paul went above and beyond to help fix my car and get it through its MOT when it really wasn’t behaving or playing ball.

We miss having you all right on our doorstep in Wickham, but you’re not too far away — and with service this good, we’ll always come back to you.

Thank you again for your fantastic help and care! 🚗👏

Gentle Reminder 💚

Please make sure to pop your appointment at The Foot Nook into your diary or calendar once it’s booked. Over the past week, I’ve had four “no shows,” which is really disheartening — especially when other clients are hoping to book in and I’m left waiting.

As a self-employed small business owner, I need to protect my income. Unless it’s an urgent medical matter preventing you from attending, the full treatment fee will be charged for missed appointments.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support.
