Mary's Blanket Challenge: Pass it on… 😀 😀 😀

Thank you to Nicki, To***co Dependency Clinical Lead, Specialist Medicine at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust Vaccination Midwife at Princess Anne Hospital , for donating some unwanted wool to Sam Tanner.

🧶Sam is passing it on to the talented members of Hookers, Knitters & Stitchers at the University of Southampton
🧶These creative hands will transform the wool into fidget blankets - comforting, sensory items especially helpful for those living with dementia.
🧶In December, Home Instead Southampton will proudly exhibit these handmade blankets and gift them to elderly individuals and those living with dementia across Southampton 🎁

This is more than crafting. It’s community, compassion, and connection. 💚

Lunch...ooh yes please! What a great team player and a lovely email to receive on a Friday morning.

Rita is a key member of the scheduling team. She ensures that clients have a visit even if a Care Professional is sick or there is an unforeseen circumstance. Rita was previously a Care Professional so she fully understands that every client comes first and should have their visit, at the time they are expecting it and she will move heaven and earth to make sure it happens! She is also a great cook!

p.s. as Rita is Hungarian so we are expecting great things from this Goulash 😋😉
