Did you know the colour of your plate can change how much you eat, and even how your food tastes?

Warm colours like red or yellow can stimulate your appetite and make food taste richer.

Cool colours like blue or green can calm your cravings and help you eat smaller portions.

High contrast between your plate and food can trick your brain into thinking there’s more food than there really is!
It’s all psychology…and it works. Next time you’re setting the table, don’t just think about what’s on your plate… think about what colour it is!

Try this:
Swap your usual dinner plate for a blue one this week and see if you notice a difference in how much you eat.
