We're delighted to announce that Zoe, our Clinical Equipment Specialist, has officially been with Team Croyde for a full year!

She's been an integral part of the team and her clinical knowledge is truly valuable to both our vision and mission as a company. A national, standardised Maternity Early Warning Score (MEWS) has been developed for rollout across England. ✨

Developed by clinical experts using real patient data, MEWS aims to improve accuracy and reduce false alerts compared to previous tools. Its implementation is supported through the NHS Maternal Care Bundle, which was published at the start of this year.

With the expectation that all maternity units will have fully implemented the tool by March 2027, this move towards a single national MEWS supports more consistent recognition and escalation of maternal deterioration across all care settings.
