✨ To the parent who’s trying their absolute best ✨
Swipe ➡️ to see me in the thick of it.
The second photo is me early postpartum with my first baby. I remember taking that picture and feeling so many things at once - love, exhaustion, fear, pride… and if I’m honest, a whole lot of “am I doing this right?”
Becoming a parent (for the first time, or the fourth) is transformational. It stretches you, shakes you, fills you, empties you, and sometimes leaves you wondering who you even are anymore.
And if you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or like you should be coping better… please hear this:
You’re not failing.
You’re adjusting.
And it’s f**king hard.
But hard doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It means you’re human. It means you care.
I wish someone had told that version of me that it was okay to ask for reassurance, to get support, to not magically know how to do everything. So I’m telling you now:
You’re doing an incredible job - yes, even on the days you don’t feel like it.
If you’re finding this season heavy or confusing, and you’d like guidance, reassurance, or someone who actually gets what this transition feels like, I’m here.
You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
Send me a ‘💛’ if any of this resonates, or share this with someone who might need a little postnatal support. Truly - no pressure, no judgement. Just support.
