Slimming World Farnborough Tuesdays 9am & 10.30am I’m Avril, the Farnborough Consultant. At Slimming World I learnt how to adapt meals to fit the plan and lose weight.

✔️ you eat until you’re satisfied
✔️ you’re actively encouraged to enjoy your food, rather than see it as the enemy
✔️ the idea is to pile your plate high with normal, everyday foods that will satisfy the heartiest appetite – things like eggs, lean meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, pasta, pulses and grains
Being given a long list of unlimited Free Food might seem outrageous; it certainly doesn’t fit the stereotypical idea of a ‘diet’. Understandably, slimmers are often sceptical at first, having lived much of their lives in fear of ‘forbidden foods’. Being able to enjoy the vast range of unrestricted Free Food is wonderfully freeing, and at 4 stone lighter I love, love, love it!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Last nights dinner was chilli con carne and inspired by group I had some singing Swede- If you know, you know. Defo a great way to make delicious Swede without the peeling and one less saucepan to wash.

Meet Jeff, Target member
“Seeing my self in pictures slowly gaining weight overtime and having to wear bigger clothes that fitted badly was the final straw.
I’d lost weight before but it always crept back on. I wanted to find a plan to get it off and keep it off! Food optimising is about eating a well balanced diet with protein and speedy foods that are satisfying.
We are a family of four adults and the whole family enjoy the same meals. Our favourite is salmon cooked in the oven with stirfried vegetables and noodles. Holidays and celebrations can be difficult. The temptation of beer, wine, sausage rolls and party food can be a challenge but using Slimming World strategies helps me make good choices without feeling deprived. Before Slimming World my BMI was in the obese range and my diabetes. Blood levels were approaching pre-diabetic levels. Losing weight was essential.
My Slimming World journey is one I didn’t have to do alone. As well as the support from Avril and my group I was together with my wife Debbie and we supported each other throughout. ❤️, if you are toying with the idea of losing weight I totally recommend Avril’s friendly, fun and supportive groups”

Lunch ❤️❤️❤️❤️ plantain is a favourite of mine. Recommended by a member in group, it’s delicious and as suggested, it’s great with loads of dishes (a nice alternative to chips) And it’s completely FREE on plan ❤️❤️❤️❤️
