I can't tell you the amount of times my clients say how uneasy they feel about self care as it makes them feel selfish ๐
Selfish means just being completely absorbed in your own self, your own gains, your own life...
๐This is not you - I know and what I see, is that all your thoughts, actions and behaviours are about others, your children, your partner, your home. In fact, thinking about you(in a healthy, positive way) is about 1%.
Raising yourself up even just a little will benefit you in so many ways ๐
๐Increases your energy and helps you remain calmer when dealing with others
๐Helps you to feel better about yourself and remain stronger when dealing with other areas of your life
๐Enables you to lead by example and shows others just how beneficial self care is
You are not selfish - far from it - you are a loving, kind and compassionate soul who is undoubtedly exhausted and in need of that same love and compassion. Let it start with you and embrace all the strength, resilience and energy it provides for you and others in your life.
