TalkPlus A free mental health service in North East Hampshire and Farnham. These include depression, anxiety, panic and phobias. TalkPLUS is not an urgent service.

Here at TalkPLUS we are team of Therapists, Counsellors and Psychologists who are dedicated to supporting people with common mental health difficulties. We are Your free NHS primary care mental health service covering North East Hants and Farnham arear. We offer easy access to a wide range of helpful tools and therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as recommended by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). Most of our clinics are held in NHS premises in Farnborough, Aldershot, Fleet, Farnham, Yateley and North Camp. However due to the current circumstances we are Online! Let’s talk about what “checking in” really means.

It’s easy to say “I’m fine.” It’s harder to admit when you’re not.
That’s why checking in with the men in your life, really checking in, matters.

Ask twice.
Listen properly.
Don’t rush to fix.

Sometimes, just being there is enough to make a difference.

At TalkPlus, we know the smallest conversations can open the biggest doors to support. This Movember, let’s keep those doors open, for our mates, our colleagues, and ourselves.

It’s Men’s Health Awareness Month – or as most know it, .

At TalkPlus, we know that good health isn’t just about how your body feels, it’s also about how your mind’s doing. This month, we’re joining the conversation around men’s mental health.

Too many men still struggle in silence. So, this November, we’re encouraging everyone, friends, families, workplaces, to start the conversations that matter. Check in on a mate. Ask twice. Listen without judgement. And if support’s needed, know that it’s okay to reach for it.

Awareness months like this one are a great reminder, but looking after your mental wellbeing is something worth doing all year round.

Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy Course for Depression, Anxiety and Pain

This is an 8-week in-person course for those interested in using mindfulness skills to improve their mental and physical well-being.

This is a practical course teaching participants how to pay greater attention to the present moment – to thoughts, feelings and body states as well as the world around them– in order to be able to take better care of themselves.

Mindfulness practice has been shown to be particularly beneficial for people who are recovering from depression, wanting to deal with anxiety and stress, or having to manage longer-term physical health conditions.

Referrals to the course are through your TalkPlus therapist.

Move to Improve!

We run a “Move to Improve” course to help people engage in physical activity and exercise. The course’s format is 5 consecutive weeks in a supportive group environment, followed by a group review session 8 weeks later.

Sessions are in person.

Session 1: Physical Activity and Mental Health​
Session 2: Overcoming Barriers and Finding Motivation ​
Session 3: Getting into Activity and Challenging Negative Thinking ​
Session 4: Coping with Stress​
Session 5: Maintaining Progress​
Session 6: Reviewing Progress 8 weeks later and Managing Setbacks
