We’re excited to announce that we will be holding a Spring Market at The Square in Camberley on Saturday 7th March, from 10am to 4pm.🌷

We will have stalls including: Garden gift items, Seed swap, Adults tombola, Sand art, and a Hoop and cone game with soft toy prizes. 🧸

We’re confirming one or two possible additional stalls (but not selling home baked goods on this occasion). And of course, there will be more amazing Sci-Fi and TV characters!

We are looking for donations of:
Garden gift items - preferably a manageable size. Plants are also welcome.
Seeds for the seed swap stall🌱

If you would be interested in volunteering at the event, please let us know your availability.

Students and staff enjoyed an exciting Burns Night celebration with Highland dancing, a live bagpipe performance, and staff members, Matt and Joe proudly wearing their kilts posing in the “real” Scottish mountains and putting on a performance that students joined in with! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Everyone also had the chance to try traditional Scottish treats including haggis, neeps and tatties, and delicious Scottish tablet. This was different but fun day for all!😋

Tickled Pink Productions treated our students to a performance of Cinderella that really stimulated the senses - whether by playing along with a tambourine, popping bubbles blown by the Fairy Godmother, or seeing Cinderella’s pumpkin transform into a carriage, her dress into a beautiful ball gown and her magic slippers lead to an uncontrollable tap dance! 🪩👗

The excitement and confidence of the students grew through close interaction with the characters. With staff encouragement, many were dancing or chanting along to “it’s behind youuu”.

Every student was able to take part in a sensory-rich experience when Sadie from the Fur and Feathers Falconry Centre visited with her beautiful birds, including a barn owl and hawk.🦉🦅

Sadie took time to meet each student’s individual needs, engaging at eye level to build connection and trust. She even brought the birds over to a student who needed space in a quiet part of the service.🩷

Students experienced the rush of air as wings flapped nearby, and one was inspired to call out to a bird by name, encouraging it to fly towards him.

The safe and supportive session offered something truly unique. Thank you, Sadie and the Falconry Centre!
