Last weekend, we were treated to a fantastic performance by the Stormy Weather Boys, singing their rousing sea shanty songs. ⚓🎶 They were absolutely brilliant! ☺️💛 These talented gentlemen also volunteer on the Newark Crusader charity boat, which we love using in the summer. We took a trip to Newark Buttermarket to decorate our Christmas tree for this year’s Christmas Tree Festival. 🎄 A lot of hard work went into making all the decorations, and the tree looked fantastic! Afterwards, we enjoyed a coffee and teacake at Tambo Lounge - a lovely way to end a festive outing. ☕🍰💛

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been busy working on a special Remembrance project. We repainted our commemorative soldier and had the idea to create a white cross and a large poppy using a board and the bottoms of plastic bottles, which we painted and arranged as poppy petals. ❤️

The finished soldier and cross are now proudly displayed on the wall - a fitting tribute to the brave people who have served and sacrificed so much. ❤️
