Have just done a Manual Lymphatic Drainage course though don't have my diploma yet (still need to do two case studies and submit them). I think this will tie in very well with the massage for people going through cancer and also with the ScarWork. Anyone who has problems with oedema due to damage or removal of lymph nodes will benefit; swollen ankles as well. I asked specifically if I could work on lymphoedema and I can do that now as well.
This work is very, very gentle and soothing and am looking forward to incorporating it into my massage sessions as well.

Have just spent the weekend doing a course on ScarWork after Breast Cancer Course with Emma Holly of Restore Therapy. Learned how to work the scars and the associated discomfort caused by mastectomies and post-surgery breast reconstructions. AMAZING results in such short practice sessions!

Time Flies! I've been back from Bosnia and Herzegovina for 3 weeks now and have no idea where those weeks have gone to. I had a good time and met some good people who have been through so many shocking things yet are so grateful for the help that the therapists give them through Healing Hands Network. I massaged my little fingers off but it was worth it.

How LUCKY I am! I am at £830.00 of my target of £850.00 to go to Bosnia Herzegovina in August. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has donated money to me. I am so very grateful to you all and to Healing Hands Network for the amazing work that they do and the opportunity they have given me to help the people in Bosnia Herzegovina

Next Saturday, the 20th of July, I'll be at Bentley Fete and Flower Show doing taster massages in my chair. The fete is always a lot of fun and has such a good feeling about it.

Am off this afternoon to do chair massages to help raise money for the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care - it is their golf day today. Hopefully lots of people will come and pay some money into the bucket so that the hospice can continue helping so many people, and their families, deal with the challenges life has thrown their way.

I went up to Coventry this last weekend to do an Introduction to PTSD (thanks John Marham) with the Healing Hands Network and also the Induction Day for going to Bosnia. I'm booked to leave on the 3rd of August for two weeks and what we saw, the people who have been helped by their work, is just Humbling and Wonderful. I am soooo excited to be going. Please, Please, Please support the Healing Hands Network as what they do is so important - Helping people whose lives were absolutely devastated by the war and UK veterans who are also suffering from war and its effects on them.

Do you have a scar? From having a C-Section, a hip or knee replacement, a burn, mastectomy and breast reconstruction? Does it look red, lumpy, bumpy, dippy, puckered, pulled in, feels attached to somewhere inside and if only you could get it released, you would feel so much better...? In May I did a ScarWork Therapy course with Emma Holly of ScarWork at Restore Therapy and learned The Most Amazing ways to work scar tissue so that many of the above problems could be resolved. If you have one of these scars, even if the scar is 20 years old, and feel you would like to have some issue(s) with it resolved, Please call me so that we can discuss a way forward for you. Please have a look at the work that Emma has done with scars and the feedback from clients about the improvement in their scars, even after Just One Session!

Please! Please! Please! help me get to Bosnia to help people whose lives were devastated by the war all of those years ago.
Many of them have scars, both physical and mental, and need help - and that's what I want to do. I can do massage therapy as well
as the ScarWork therapy and also give them kindness and TLC for the time that I am there - you can give them that kindness and TLC too by helping me to
raise the money and get out there. I need £850.00 to cover the cost of the airfare, accommodation and food for two weeks.

I completed a Cancer Massage course in March so am able to do massage on people who are struggling with the effects of their cancer or the side effects of the treatment they are undergoing. If you know of anyone in the area, who has cancer, and needs some TLC and help dealing with these problems, please give me a call. I cannot cure the cancer and I cannot make it go into remission but I can hand out TLC in huge doses!
