David Hampton planted douglas fir and larch trees in a forest in Oregon to resemble a face. Every autumn the larch pines turn orange and the smiley face stands out.
The face is about 300 feet in diameter

Did you know that if you have Health cover you can claim back treatment costs for reflexology?

And did you know what I carry out reflexology on hands as well as feet?

Reflexology in a nutshell

Reflexology is a deeply calming, relaxing and re-energising holistic therapy. It’s based on the principle that reflex points on the feet mirror the various nerves, glands, organs and systems of the body. Essentially, the feet are a ‘map’ of the body. Reflexology is usually applied via the feet although the hands can be used to treat instead.

Reflexology treatments help to eliminate toxins and congestion and in reducing the effects of stress, helps to prevent disease. It doesn’t claim to heal - the treatments enable our amazing bodies to heal itself. By working the various pressure points on the feet, reflexology helps to induce a prolonged state of deep relaxation. Through relaxation, reflexology helps bring the body back into a state of balance known as homeostasis - this is an ideal state of equilibrium in which all of the body’s systems are working at their optimum.
