The bridge is one of the best exercises for building glute and core strength, but small mistakes can make it far less effective.

Here’s how to fix yours 👇

⚠️Common mistakes (and how to correct them):
• Feet too far away: Bring your heels closer to your bottom to fire up the glutes.

• Core switched off: Before lifting, press your spine gently into the mat to engage your core.

• Pushing through toes: Always push through your heels – that’s where the magic happens.

• Lifting too high: Stop when your knees, hips, and shoulders form a straight line.

• No squeeze: Hold at the top and squeeze your glutes for 2 seconds before lowering.

Here’s how to improve stair climbing, starting with one simple movement.

This is called the standing hip abduction, which targets the muscles that keep you stable and strong 💪

For this exercise, keep going until you feel a working ache just below the belt line. (That’s when you know your glutes are doing their job!) Then repeat on the other side, 2x daily.

Forward this to someone for their next workout and let us know down in the comments once you’ve given it a go! 📩

WEEKLY ROUNDUP

It’s been a fast-paced few weeks here – the kind where weeks feel like months. We’re in a period of rapid growth, and with growth come the inevitable growing pains.

We’ve added multiple new team members, significantly upgraded our content operation, and taken the experience for our Lifelong Mobility members to a whole new level. With all this change, I’ve barely had a chance to stop and reflect.

This year’s been breathless. We’ve hit milestones I used to dream about, achieved things that once felt out of reach, and helped thousands of people around the world move better and live stronger.

But I’ve learned that the more you grow, the quieter the praise becomes. You stop being the underdog. You become the incumbent. And that’s when the real test begins.

As I told the team this week, learning can hurt. But that kind of pain is usually the signal of something important: growth in real time.

It’s been a lonely stage, too. There are less and less people who can relate to the challenges ahead. But a business only grows as fast as its owner.

That’s why I’ve been investing heavily in myself this year. I’m now in rooms where the smallest fish in the pond… is me. Where the conversations stretch me. Where I feel like I’m still way off the pace. Where the standards are higher.

But progress never feels like progress when you’re in the middle of it.

If it feels uncomfortable, you’re probably right where you should be.

If you only do one exercise to strengthen your glutes, make it this one. 🌟

Most people over 50 think they need squats or lunges to build stronger hips, but there’s a much simpler (and safer) way to wake up your glutes… the side-lying hip abduction.

This small, precise movement targets the muscles just below your belt line – the ones that help you walk, climb stairs, and protect your hips and knees from pain.

✅Here’s how to do it:
• Lie on your side in a perfectly straight line – like a pencil.
• Roll slightly forward (this helps you target the right muscle).
• Support your head with your hand.
• Lift your top leg up and slightly back – not just up.
• You should feel it just below your belt line.
• Lower slowly, bring your heels together, and repeat.
• Switch sides and do a few sets each day.

A small, precise movement – but powerful results for balance, strength, and hip stability.

Worried about falls? Here’s one simple technique that can make a huge difference to your balance and safety. 🚶‍♀️

Most people trip because they accidentally step across their body when turning – especially in tight spaces like the kitchen. That small misstep can easily lead to a nasty fall.

Instead, try a Marching Turn:
1️⃣ As you turn, lift your feet slightly instead of crossing them.
2️⃣ Keep your steps light and controlled.
3️⃣ Practice this during daily movements until it becomes automatic.

This simple change keeps your balance centered and helps prevent you from tripping over your own feet.

💾 Save this to remember how a small adjustment can protect you from a big fall.
