Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a very gentle type of massage that helps move a fluid in your body called lymph. This fluid is part of your bodyβs cleaning and defense system (the lymphatic system). It carries waste, toxins, and extra fluid away from tissues.
During the massage, I use light, slow, and rhythmic movements to help the lymph fluid flow more easily toward the lymph nodes, where the body filters out waste.
Benefits of Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Reduces Swelling
It helps remove extra fluid from the body, which can reduce swelling in areas like the legs, arms, or face.
Supports the Immune System
By helping lymph move properly, it can support your bodyβs natural ability to fight infections.
Helps Detox the Body
The massage helps the body remove waste and toxins through the lymphatic system.
Improves Skin Health
Better circulation of lymph can make skin look clearer and less puffy.
Helps After Surgery
Doctors sometimes recommend it after surgery to reduce swelling and speed up healing.
Promotes Relaxation
Because the massage is slow and gentle, many people feel calm and relaxed afterwards.
People who may benefit include those who:
Have swelling (edema)
Are recovering from surgery
Feel bloated or puffy
Want relaxation and better circulation
