We visited Dementia Care Hub last week to talk about the services we provide and it was lovely to meet so many of their clients. What a wonderful service they provide!

🌿 Thinking about coming along… but not quite sure?

Just a warm welcome, a cup of tea, and people who understand.

And often, by the end of that first visit, something shifts:

Kelly Osman has worked for Waterside Home Help for just over 4 years now. As a company we would like to thank her for her hard work and dedication to the business, the clients, staff and client’s families.
Personally I would like to thank you kelly for your absolute dedication. For everything you do on a daily basis. For always remaining calm and ‘unflappable’, for managing things while I take time off, but mostly for your unwavering support to me and the wonderful company that now supports so many people across The Waterside !

We're looking for Helpers who are KIND, PATIENT, HARD WORKING and RELIABLE to join our existing team here at Waterside Home Help Ltd.

The role will be a mixture of cleaning, shopping, general errands, welfare checks and companionship.
various days and hours available, idealy with flexibility to cover annual leave. Hours are negotiable but:

-IDEALLY WE REQUIRE SOMEONE TO WORK TWO/THREE REGULAR DAYS A WEEK WITH THE FLEXIBILITY TO COVER EXTRA DAYS AD HOC! APPROXIMATELY 12-16 HOURS

-Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 and 3/4/5 (depending on your availability)
-No evenings or weekends (although we have weekend shifts available if interested, including enhancements for weekend workers)

-Full training/induction provided
-PAYE pay
-competitive rate of pay
-Uniform and equipment provided
-Mileage and paid travel time
-company pension scheme
-24/7 access to a range of employee mental health and well-being services

The successful candidate will require two references and an enhanced DBS (arranged by us).
You will need to be a car driver and have access to your own vehicle.

I’d like to welcome Emma to our team.
We have been so impressed by how well she’s settled in and how popular she’s is with both clients and their families already.
But it was during a tea call tonight that we realised how lucky we are to have Emma here at Waterside Home Help.
On arrival our client was unwell and in a lot of pain, after consulting with us an ambulance was called and Emma offered to stay until either the paramedics or the client’s friend arrived.
Emma packed her a hospital bag and gave plenty of reassurance.
This is the first time Emma has had to call an ambulance in her life which makes how she handled before during and after all the more impressive. Thankyou Wigmore ❤️
