You need to feel it to heal it.

If you are struggling with something in your life right now, you may find yourself trying to avoid the uncomfortable feelings or distract yourself. You may do just about anything to avoid feeling that feeling or facing that reality.

And this may not be a conscious choice….

Listening to our body and allowing ourselves to feel and move through those uncomfortable feelings is key.

Free time is rare for me - I’m sure other mums can relate!

So when I unexpectedly realised that I’ve got time to myself this weekend, my mind instantly went to how I could fill the time with all sorts of productive things. Cleaning the house, doing a tip run, painting the kitchen…..

But…..the new version of me said NO.

Allow free time to be just that. Allow the space. Space doesn’t need to be filled or scheduled.

And interestingly when we allow the space we get creative and have our best aha moments.

Next time you have some free time, try allowing the space to be exactly what it is without trying to fill it. Then listen to how your body responds.

Hi everyone 👋

I wanted to introduce myself as I’ve moved back home to Felixstowe just over a year ago after being away for a number of years — and it feels so lovely to be back in my hometown.

I’m a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, Advanced Regression Therapist and I’ll soon also be offering EFT as part of my integrative, holistic approach.

My work focuses on the whole person. I guide you to understand what your mind and body are communicating through symptoms, patterns and behaviours.

Our bodies are constantly talking to us. Anxiety, low mood, weight struggles, alcohol use, smoking, and even physical symptoms — they’re not random. They’re messages. Through my work, I help you remember how to listen to those messages, working with your body and mind in harmony, and supporting your nervous system to feel safe again.

I love helping people who feel stuck and those who are experiencing symptoms they are struggling to resolve whether that’s persistent anxiety, depression, weight loss challenges, quitting smoking, alcohol use, or ongoing physical symptoms — and guiding them to resolve the obstacles that are holding them back so they can move forward with more clarity and confidence.

Being calm all the time is not the goal.
In fact… it’s probably an impossible standard.

Life happens.
Curve balls get thrown.
Plans change. People disappoint us. Unexpected things unfold.

The aim isn’t to feel zen 24/7.

It’s about expanding your window of tolerance, a state of nervous system balance where we can stay present, adaptable, and engaged with our surroundings.
Building flexibility.
Strengthening your nervous system so that when something does happen — you can handle it without completely derailing.

It’s about:

✨ Responding instead of reacting
✨ Recovering more quickly
✨ Feeling discomfort without being overwhelmed
✨ Resolving the underlying triggers that make certain situations hit harder than they need to

When we work on the root causes — old patterns, unresolved stress, past experiences — we increase our capacity for life.

Not perfect calm.
But resilience.
Adaptability.
Stability.

And that changes everything.

Why my change of name?

‘Body language’ emphasises the importance of listening to our body’s communication which I believe is vital to health, wellbeing and happiness.

It’s something most of us don’t do enough.

Every symptom is a message. But yet mainstream medicine just gives us something to ‘get rid of it’, rather than resolving what’s actually going on.

This week my body told me very loudly and very clearly that I needed to stop and rest- these flu like symptoms and tooth infection have knocked me for six. It’s not what I wanted this week but perhaps exactly what I needed.
