Yoga Classes Felixstowe

Yoga Classes Felixstowe Choose an experienced teacher & a class in Felixstowe, Kirton, or Walton. Beginners welcome. 1 to 1s available. I love your teaching style.

British Wheel of Yoga teaching diploma (a 3 year qualification), Post Grad Cert in Ed, 33 yrs of yoga practice, 11 years teaching locally. "Anne's unique style of teaching has enabled me to return to yoga with confidence, joy and ease. I can't wait to return to her yoga sessions each week and reap the benefits from her wonderful, relaxed, calming and nurturing style of teaching. Her warm, sensitive personality instantly put me at ease, despite my anxieties. She creates a relaxed, happy environment which continually makes me feel safe and reassured. Anne is very reflective about how to obtain the maximum benefit from postures without putting the body under any strain or pressure. She is creative and exploratory, and is very philosophical, often considering how life can affect our physical bodies and emotional status." Sandra B

“Thank you for being such an inspiring, uplifting, passionate, kind and giving teacher. You have a real gift and you make it a real gift to your students too. “ Julie W

“You're the best yoga teacher I've had... Kind, patient and caring. You've taught me to be gentle to myself, but to work hard at improving suppleness and core strength - the perfect balance. “ Alison F

“I just wanted to thank you for the class this morning, I came home feeling better stretched, more relaxed and just generally better than I ever have after a session, either at home or at a class.” Angela K

“I find that your delivery style is really soothing, helpful (and humorous!) and I particularly like the way you take time to make the experience inclusive to those less able among us. The exercises are great and I often feel that I end the sessions with a high degree of inner calm. I really look forward to the sessions and I feel that I've missed out if I'm unable to attend.” Graham W

"While hiking in 40 degrees I became unwell with heat stroke... I used the breathing methods we've learned in yoga to relax and get back down again....so pleased with myself.” Elaine A

Right now there are Tibetan Buddhist monks in a temple in the Himalayas endlessly reciting mantras for the cessation of your suffering and for the flourishing of your happiness.

Someone you haven't met yet is already dreaming of adoring you.

Someone is writing a book that you will read in the next two years that will change how you look at life.

Nuns in the Alps are in endless vigil, praying for the Holy Spirit to alight the hearts of all of God's children.

A farmer is looking at his organic crops and whispering, "nourish them."

Someone wants to kiss you, to hold you, to make tea for you.

Someone is willing to lend you money, wants to know what your favorite food is, and treat you to a movie.
Someone in your orbit has something immensely valuable to give you — for free.

Something is being invented this year that will change how your generation lives, communicates, heals and passes on.

The next great song is being rehearsed.

Thousands of people are in yoga classes right now intentionally sending light out from their heart chakras and wrapping it around the earth.

Millions of children are assuming that everything is amazing and will always be that way.

Someone is in profound pain, and a few months from now, they'll be thriving like never before. From where they are, they just can't see it.

Someone who is craving to be partnered, to be acknowledged, to arrive, will get precisely what they want — and even more. And because that gift will be so fantastical in its reach and sweetness, it will quite magically alter their memory of angsty longing and render it all "So worth the wait."

Someone has recently cracked open their joyous, genuine nature because they did the hard work of hauling years of oppression off of their psyche — this luminous juju is floating in the ether, and is accessible to you.

Someone just this second wished for world peace, in earnest.

Some civil servant is making sure that you get your mail, and your garbage is picked up, that the trains are running on time, and that you are generally safe.

Someone is dedicating their days to protecting your civil liberties and clean drinking water.

Someone is regaining their sanity.
Someone is coming back from the dead.
Someone is genuinely forgiving the seemingly unforgivable.
Someone is curing the incurable.

You. Me. Some. One. Now.

Why choose a British Wheel of Yoga teacher in a world of marketing hype? Here's why. British Wheel of Yoga teachers spend 4 years learning how to teach. Our qualification is the highest level of yoga teacher training available in the UK, regulated and bench marked to national educational standards. Our courses include how to teach a wide range of yoga postures safely and appropriately, anatomy and physiology, yoga philosophy, breathing practices, mindfulness, meditation and relaxation. It doesn’t end there. Every year, a BWY teacher must continue their professional development and practices. For testimonials, please see my website

There are a few spaces available in my classes at the moment due to summer holidays. Contact me if you'd like to try a class. Here's my latest review to tempt you :-) "Anne is an experienced yogi. Her classes are a flow of skillful movement, breathing and postures. Each class is thoughtfully taught to meet the needs of all who attend her sessions. I have found great benefit from the yoga practice with Anne. The pace of the class gives you time to really focus out of your head and listen to your body. It is a wonderful, relaxing experience and at the same time you feel you have made small wins towards your personal goals. I highly recommend Anne's classes." CM, June 23.

Happy New Year!
My new-ish evening yoga class starts again tomorrow at 6pm in central Felixstowe.
I'm enjoying moving, feeling energised and enthused by yoga this week. After a couple of weeks focusing on the external world of food and drink, socialising and glittery baubles, it's timely to return to a focus on our inner selves. How are you? Would you like to come to yoga and spend time finding out?
