I put this against idea of our relationship with ourselves... It is not uncommon for many to spend a lifetime matching up to other's vision and expectation of what they are or what they should be... I get it, it's what we think human love is, - self sacrifice, compromise, commitment, self-less care and service... But I actually think it's just convenient, because really we are just scared sh*tless... It does frighten us the most to look inside and find our own truth.
By default we assume that there is nothing but mediocre nobody or worse still something dark inside... I am not going to tell you there is light and endless joy inside your heart. There isn't! What you will find inside to begin with are many missing, brutalised, traumatised and neglected parts of yourself... Bringing those home will be just the beginning. Feeling yourself come together........! Well... That's when you stop waiting for a lion or even looking for a musician, you will simply dance... And that's how the real music finds you!
