🕸️ Sweetly Spooky Celebrations at Derwent Lodge! 👻🍰

Our residents and team had a spook-tacular afternoon enjoying a wonderful selection of Halloween-themed sweet treats — ghoulishly delicious cupcakes🧁

The atmosphere was filled with laughter, smiles, and plenty of Halloween spirit. A huge thank you to Chef Agnel and his team who helped bake, decorate, and make the day so special. 💜

🎀 Coffee Afternoon Success at Derwent Lodge! ☕🍰

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Coffee Afternoon on 30th October 2025 in support of Breast Cancer U.K. 💗

Thanks to your generosity (and love of cake!), we’re delighted to share that we raised over £300 for this amazing cause! 👏

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, friendship, and some truly delicious homemade treats — from fluffy scones to beautifully decorated cakes. 🍓🧁made by our very talented Chef Agnel 👨🏽‍🍳

It’s a hard job but someone has to do it 😎

The weather ☀️ is just too good to stay indoors. Thursday seen a group of us heading to Windsor 🏰 where we had a little tour 🚌 round town before heading down to the river for a lovely picnic 🧺 in the shade, lovingly made by the kitchen team👩‍🍳. We watched the world go by, chatted to a few tourists, and fed the swans 🦢 geese 🪿 and ducks 🦆 We love to give our residents the respect and dignity they deserve, because they have made our lives possible🙏🏻

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon trip 🚌
