Went for a lovely long walk with Cleo the other weekend, even though it was pretty grey I took some photos of the river as we walked alongside it. When we got home I was amazed to see all the beautiful patterns created by the light hitting it. Painted with Northumbrian Seacoal and Sandstone

Creating artworks for an exhibition at The Playhouse ‘Down to Earth’ will run from April-June and there will be an interactive area where you can come and make some Natural Pigments artwork yourself ☺️✨

Making Paints from Northumbrian stone and clay, handy to have in little pots for storing and taking on little painting missions :-) Also prepping for an exhibition at April-June ✨I’ll be running some natural pigment making and painting workshops during that time and also do 121 sessions from the studio 💛

Hill Guardian in Northumbrian Earth paint. Yesterday at retreat we had a beautiful day making space to take some time to slow down, rest and connect to ourselves, each other and to nature. This painting is a reminder to go slow, be gentle in this season of winter. That we are part of nature and we need different things to nourish us than we do in summer.

‘The Moon is Full’ for children and adults. ALL profits made go to providing emergency assistance to children and families in Gaza. I wrote this book for my daughter Holly when she was little and it is all about connecting to the magic of nature on our earth for support. All children should feel safe in an environment where they can thrive. The books are £10 and I will add to my Etsy soon, however if you would like to buy a copy just DM me.

Got the urge to paint some more Sea Coal Crows- this one on Khadi paper- cotton rag paper with no chemicals ☺️🖤Also I have heard recently that apparently other birds see them multicoloured like parrots

Canny wait to run this free (funded) workshop through Northumberland Wildlife Trust this Wednesday. We’ll be working with Northumbrian pigments such as sea coal, clay and sandstone ✨
