We are hiring Care Area Manager – Dorset & Hampshire (with South West Expansion)
Location:
Field-based across Dorset and Hampshire, with travel across the South West as required.
(Home/Office Hybrid)
Reports to the Director.
Salary:
Competitive (dependent on experience) + car allowance + performance bonus
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Care Area Manager to oversee our care operations across Dorset and Hampshire, with a view to expanding their remit across the South West region as our services grow.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple services. You will provide strategic and operational support to Registered Managers and care teams, ensuring each service delivers outstanding, person-centred care and meets all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and support multiple care services across Dorset and Hampshire (and future South West locations).
• Ensure all services are compliant with CQC regulations and meet or exceed company quality standards.
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Registered Managers and their teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in care quality, staff engagement, and operational efficiency.
• Analyse performance data, identify trends, and implement effective action plans.
• Collaborate with the recruitment and HR teams to ensure adequate staffing levels and strong retention.
• Work with Director on business growth and regional development opportunities.
• Manage budgets effectively, ensuring services operate within financial parameters.
• Foster a culture of compassion, accountability, and excellence across all services.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a multi-site management role within the health and social care sector (essential).
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and best practices in care delivery.
• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent) – preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Dorset, Hampshire, and the South West.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance compliance and compassion.
