Today we've had a great time celebrating Fred's BirthdayπŸŽ‚ πŸ₯³ Started on our Chinese salt dough ornaments to be finished tomorrow, when we will be celebrating Chinese New Year. Then we gathered together for worship this afternoon with a visit from our lovely local Chapel team.

February 5th is World Nutella Day! And you know all of us here at Denehurst love a sneaky chance to celebrate...everything! So of course we indulged ourselves in all things Nutella !! We've enjoyed making Nutella puff pastry twists, roses and plaits.Whilst enjoying Nutella cookies from the kitchen! Our Norman did get slightly carried away and decided to eat the Nutella from the jar...but who hasn't done that beforeπŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€£ a lovely afternoon spent together once again.❀️

Yesterday was a day filled with engaging activities. In the morning, we hosted a relaxing ladies' session, offering hair styling, foot spas, nail care, and hand massages. The afternoon featured the men's club, with activities such as pool, football, dominoes, access to newspapers, and a selection of beers and pub snacks. Additionally, many residents enjoyed personalized one-on-one time in the comfort of their own rooms

🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Today we have enjoyed coming together to celebrate Burns Night. Our kitchen staff have done amazing with Jordan creating yummy dishes including traditional Haggis with Neapes and Tatties and Ellie creating some fabulous Scottish deserts/snacks such as Raspberry Cranachan Trifle and Traditonal Scottish Tablet.Residents enjoyed making traditional Scottish Melting Moment cakes. This afternoon we enjoyed being entertained by a wonderful Scottish Piper Adam Jenkins. A busy yet enjoyable day for all 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (video in comments)
