Where the legend starts: The Atlantis story

We have given away nearly 200 Atlantis beanie hats over the past month, helping to keep our customers warm whilst working or playing outdoors. We sent our last beanie out this morning and await more photos. Competition winner to be announced on Friday 19th December.

We are prepping another 5 made-to-order . These are destined to form part of stand-by systems for UK Data Centres.

Day service tanks are paired with power generation equipment so they can provide them with a clean and controlled source of fuel, close by. The day tanks are usually fed by a larger generator bulk tank which can be placed further away where space allows.

These 5 tanks are part of a larger order from our customer ASOTO who provide unique containerised power generation solutions. The tanks pictured all have the same capacity of 3,700 litres, the same dimensions and accessories. Yes, they are taller than usual due to space constraints at the installation site.

Accessories for all 9 include an:
- Overfill Limiter to prevent spills when filling up
- O.L.E. C2020 Tank Gauge Kit with high and low level arms and connectivity to a building management system for remote monitoring
- Bottom outlet
- Switches and motorised valves required for day tank controllers

The tanks are painted in Signal Grey protective coating.

to customers Craig and Jaimie from Bill Peet & Son. They both braved the cold this morning to pick up their new 2,450 litre plastic bunded heating oil tank from our yard in Mildenhall. 'Customer Collections' is a no-cost delivery option which has saved Craig the 'Economy' or 'White Glove' delivery service fee.

Bill Peet & Son is a small and growing groundworks business serving schools and municipal properties in the Bedford area. The oil tank will help warm company premises.

And for the health & safety experts amongst you, another couple of straps were applied to the tank before the drive back to Bedford. 🦺

More generator bulk storage is prepped for despatch from our Ferryhill logistics centre, near Durham. This time a 66,500 litre steel bunded is destined for a standby power generation project at a Newcastle hospital.

All such tanks are blueprinted by Atlantis prior to manufacturer. This ensures high quality, compliant production that is faithful to our client's specific storage requirements.

Our client chose to fit their own pump sets and fuel polishers and the connections visible inside the security cabinet interior reflect this. They also chose these optional accessories:

- Roller Shutter Door (instead of the standard swing door)
- 2" Overfill Limiter Valve which helps above-ground tanks being overfilled
- Removable Drop Tube Assembly, a unique Atlantis accessory which allows for easier servicing of the foot valve and strainer located at the bottom of the inner tank.
