Did you know stairlifts have been around for over 100 years? The very first one was invented in 1923 by C.C. Crispen, a car engineer from Pennsylvania. He created it for a friend with polio and called it the “Inclin-ator.”

Why left-hand?
Because the rail needs to run on the left hand side when you stand at the bottom looking up simple rule, but it makes ALL the difference when quoting correctly.

Every staircase is different… and that’s why we love doing these!
