In the seaside village of Fishbourne, our Edwardian Manor Barn Care Home in West Sussex radiates historic charm.

This Grade II listed building dates back over a century, its elegant period architecture granting a palpable sense of warmth and nostalgia. Rhymecare Limited believe that the provision of high standards of care delivered to meet individual requirements in comfortable and attractive surroundings provides the secure and happy atmosphere that every individual has the right to expect. Our approach emphasises the need for good communication between care staff, residents and where appropriate, relatives that builds relationships that safeguard independence and dignity. Manor Barn is a grade 2 listed building which has its own distinct character. The home is set in well-kept grounds and enjoys a peaceful environment. The home has been carefully developed allowing it to retain many of the original features. There are 31 rooms all equipped to 21st century standards.

We’re proud to share that our staff are trained to recognise the signs of epilepsy and respond quickly and appropriately, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both our colleagues and residents.

We are especially grateful to the members of our team who live with epilepsy and continue to inspire us with their strength and dedication every day.

By raising awareness, supporting one another and fostering open conversations, we continue to build a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported and safe.

🌸 Manor Barn Spring Party🌸

We had a wonderful time celebrating the arrival of spring here at Manor Barn Care Home! The morning was spent appreciating the season and planting new seeds that we can’t wait to watch grow over the coming weeks 🌱

The one and only Dawn Gracie - Dawn's Vintage Do returned with another fantastic, lively performance that had everyone smiling and singing along 🎶

After all the excitement, we enjoyed a well-deserved relax with a lovely afternoon tea. A perfect day filled with music, laughter, and the joy of spring! 🌷☕

We had a lovely morning today welcoming the Age UK Community Team from the Chichester area to Manor Barn ☕

Clare & Lucinda met with Marie, Nealey and Kate for a tour of the home and to learn more about what we do here. It was a wonderful opportunity to share ideas and explore how we can work together in the future.

Building relationships like this is so important. By working together and sharing knowledge, spaces and opportunities, we can strengthen our connection with the community and create more meaningful experiences for everyone involved.

We’re really looking forward to attending community events and hopefully hosting some here at Manor Barn too, opening our doors and welcoming more members of our local community to join us.

Partnerships like this are incredibly valuable and we are delighted to be starting this journey supporting Age UK. 💙in the wonderful work they do.

Another fantastic afternoon at Manor Barn! 🎶

Femi came in to perform for our residents and as always, he had the whole room full of smiles.
There was plenty of singing, dancing and clapping along and the atmosphere was just wonderful. Our residents absolutely adore his visits and they’re still talking about it days later! Thank you, Femi, for bringing so much joy to our home. 💃😊
