Manor Barn Care Home In the seaside village of Fishbourne, our Edwardian Manor Barn Care Home in West Sussex radiates historic charm.

This Grade II listed building dates back over a century, its elegant period architecture granting a palpable sense of warmth and nostalgia. Rhymecare Limited believe that the provision of high standards of care delivered to meet individual requirements in comfortable and attractive surroundings provides the secure and happy atmosphere that every individual has the right to expect. Our approach emphasises the need for good communication between care staff, residents and where appropriate, relatives that builds relationships that safeguard independence and dignity. Manor Barn is a grade 2 listed building which has its own distinct character. The home is set in well-kept grounds and enjoys a peaceful environment. The home has been carefully developed allowing it to retain many of the original features. There are 31 rooms all equipped to 21st century standards.

🎄 Day 6: Elf & Safety
Our care team has been infiltrated by two naughty Christmas elves! 😮
They attempted to “help,” caused a blizzard of festive chaos, then turned a smooth wheelchair ride into a reindeer race around the room.

Santa… please come collect your staff.🎄🦌✨

The admin arrived looking for the manager but found a cheeky elf in the boss’s chair, feet up, on the manager’s phone and declaring, “Meetings are cancelled.” 😮

Today Nola again visited us at Manor Barn, filling our home with songs, laughter and joy.
One resident shared stories from when she was the same age as Nola, during the time when the world was at war.
Moments like this remind us how precious it is when generations meet, connect and learn from each other.
This is what makes a home: warmth, memories and the beauty of being together. ❤️

🧑‍🎄 Festive fun at Manor Barn! 🎄

Today we were delighted to welcome back Dawn Gracie - Dawn's Vintage Do.
Dawn is fast becoming one of our most requested performers and it’s easy to see why! Her infectious personality, warmth and charm light up the room from the moment she arrives.

Today Dawn brought the Christmas spirit in full force with a wonderful festive set, packed with seasonal favourites that had our residents and their families singing, smiling and swaying along. We even spotted a couple of naughty elves causing mischief and adding to the fun!

Thank you, Dawn, for another truly magical visit. We can’t wait to have you back at Manor Barn in the New Year. 🎄❤️
