Hart Health Partnership GP Noticeboard

Hart Health Partnership GP Noticeboard Hart Health Partnership is the merged Fleet GP practices of Fleet Medical Centre & Branksomewood Road

"It is with excitement that Fleet Medical Centre and Branksomewood Healthcare Centre proudly announce that they will be merging as of 1st April 2023. It is a big piece of work to merge our 2 practices and we are keen to do this to protect and preserve the provision of healthcare services in this part of Fleet by creating stability, recruitment and training options for the future. We already work closely together as member practices of Fleet Primary Care Network and we have good relationships with the other 2 local surgeries -Richmond Surgery and Crondall New Surgery- who are supportive of our merger."

Noel is a wise elf! 🧝

Noel’s in a panic! His nose is glowing brighter than Rudolph’s. But instead of dashing to his doctor, he makes a list, checks it twice, and realises he’s run out of paracetamol and tissues. A quick restock at his local shop and he’s right as rain before the sleigh leaves the depot.

As we continue introducing the volunteers who make up our Patient Participation Group (PPG), this week we’re delighted to say hello to Gill Brogden 👋

Gill has been part of our PPG for the past three years and brings with her a background in engineering and process improvement. She enjoys using these skills to help support positive changes and improvements across the practice.

You’ll often spot Gill volunteering at our vaccination clinics, coupled with promoting the practice within the local community. She also runs friendly IT support clinics at our surgeries, helping patients feel more confident using their phones and computers — from accessing the NHS App to booking appointments online.

A fun fact about Gill: at just 12 years old, she competed in the World Highland Dancing Championships in Canada! She later went on to dance semi-professionally in hotels across Glasgow and Edinburgh, performing at tourist events.

Having lived in Fleet for 37 years, Gill will be a familiar face to many — especially when she’s sporting her yellow high-viz at our flu and COVID clinics. And if you’d like some one-to-one help with technology, you can contact Gill via the PPG email at PPGatHHP@gmail.com
