It’s Friday evening and the perfect opportunity to introduce you to one of our newer Patient Participation Group (PPG) members…. Viviane Murray 🎉

Viviane has lived in Fleet with her family for 26 years and joined the PPG in August 2025. Originally from France, she built an impressive career as a Molecular Biologist, working in academic, pre-clinical, and clinical research for over 30 years, specialising in oncology and contributing to important advances in cancer research.

Since retiring in June 2024, Viviane has been keen to give back to her local community, bringing her wealth of knowledge and passion for healthcare to support our patients and practice. She’s already been lending a hand at our October vaccination clinic (you may have spotted her in the yellow high-vis!) and has kindly volunteered for future sessions too.

There is an outbreak of measles in Enfield. Measles is a highly infectious virus so spread may occur.

If your child has missed the MMR immunisation, please contact the surgery on 01252 619000 so we can book them in. The combined immunisation now contains the chicken pox vaccine, so 4 in 1 protection.

Adults over the age of 40 may also be eligible.

The more people who catch measles, the more likely it is that serious complications will occur.
