Ivory Homecare was established in 2000 as a private, independent business operated by Fiona Snead. It has demonstrated steady annual growth in terms of range of services offered and geographic areas covered

Without a doubt the most important “asset” we have is the compassionate, professional, experienced and friendly staff that we employ

The health care assistants (HCA’s) are ably supported and supervised by our team of dedicated managers who prepare and update care plans and attend all reviews Everyone is fully trained and certified in moving and handling, health and safety, safeguarding, basic food hygiene, first aid, fire risk and infection control. Our more senior staff are also trained in catheter care, wound care, stoma care and dementia. We encourage all staff to qualify for a diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Our management team also hold specific other qualifications

Ivory Homecare has contracts with various Social Services departments and local Health Authorities as well as “direct payment” and private service users who fund their own care. We also work with local hospices

We provide domiciliary care to service users with a broad range of needs

Well hello back again. I know you must be fed up from hearing from us with all the updates.
We hope that you all managed to survive the Christmas excitement we did but only just.
Hopefully all the bugs are moving on and the storms will be stopping too so that we can manage to get in/out of your houses dry and on on two feet. Small reference to Lori and Pat. I know just ask them with a straight face and try not to giggle but we have laughed.
Thank you for all of you that have sent over your kind words and continued support so here we go again.

Omg how terrible have we been over a year since our last post!!!!! This post is an extra special one! It’s Ivory’s 25 year anniversary!! 25yrs ago today Fiona set up Ivory with a passion for care work and to say she has smashed it Is an understatement!!! We have had lots of changes over the years but the quality of care given has always stayed amazing! We have had wonderful service users and HCAs and we have made an incredible team so well done everyone keep up the amazing work and here is to the next 25 years right Fiona??? 😂😂

Surprise it's me! i thought that it had been a while and i'm sure you've all been missing the wit and humour we provide, and that's just doing the visits. Luckily it has been a wet summer as when its sunny the bikinis might come out aaaagh. Although i have been looking at providing the HCA's with canoes if this continues so life jackets at the ready? Its the usual thank you to everyone for their support and especially the HCA's who have gone above and beyond to help throughout the holiday making sure that you all receive the care you need.

I want to say a big thank you to all our service users and Health Care Assistant for their continued support for putting up with Fiona and I🤪 I know it can be challenging at times! Here to another 10 years If i survive working with Fiona that long!!!😆

HELLOOOOOOO Anyone out there?!?!?! As usual i am completely useless at keeping Facebook up to date. We have had a busy few months lots of training, organizing (that is me not Fiona obviously!). We have been busy updating policies and procedures now that COVID is becoming apart of our everyday lives. With this is mind HCA's still have full PPE however face masks are at service users discretion. HCA will still test if feeling unwell!. Hope everyone is staying safe and begining to look forward to 🎅 I wont say it just yet lol

Hi Its me again! I know another post so soon, After all these years I'm starting to get a hang of this thing! The new venture that we announced last week and had a lot of interest which is exciting and we are still recruiting for our companionship role as well as the domiciliary care side of Ivory so roll up roll up!

We must be mad but we have decided to extend our services and branch out! Ivory Homecare now has a ventured out and has now formed Ivory Support Services this will run along side Ivory but offer more a companionship. For example options of sitting services/domestic house work/ Shopping/Excursions etc this is all subject to availability. So we are looking at recruiting and advertising in the near future so keep your eyes peeled!😳
